I think indoctrination as a concept often doesn’t give young people enough credit. Like saying they’re too dumb to make up their own minds. Sometimes, (not saying you) the people most worried about indoctrination get mixed up when you ask, “You believed everything you were told in college?” Again, not saying you, it’s just something I’ve noticed.
I have a relative who didn’t want her kid going to a certain elite college for fear of indoctrination. Usually works itself out because kids who are very susceptible to that tend not to have the critical thinking skills required to get in there in the first place.
