It is for whom was posting the article. I agree that Bobby should be held to the standard of any other university employee. I’ve been vocal the past 2 years that it was unacceptable and I emailed the AD as much in those moments. His actions were corrected moving forward both times.
Now, as stated, I am glad that is my biggest gripe vs what we saw with multiple coaches in Bozeman and the handling afterwards.

No other U employee has to deal with media as much and deal with BS questions. It’s not the same situation for a grad coach. Multiple good and successful coaches go at it with the media.

I'm telling people what I think, and think of their views. I am not telling them what to think. The worst ones are lost forever and won't change their minds. I have a high degree of confidence in most of what I say. And, telling them what I think of their views and them is the closes thing, on the internet, to punching them in the nose. But thanks for trying to tell me what to do.like a lot of posters in this thread, i thought it was a great season, but what i'm going to remember is losing to the bobs in the semifinals.
also, a note to greenie: haven't you learned yet that telling other people how they should think or act is counterproductive? you are only going to harden their opinions, most of which seem to match mine.
you are welcome! except there is nothing to thank me for, because i asked you a question, and made no suggestions as to what you should do. your reading comprehension isn't very good lately.

So you are saying Bobby never talked about RTD when he started his 2.0 run...he hasn't stated winning the BSC and beating the cats are his goals and expectations?
i agree, that is why you don't see me doing it. i do comment on what i like or don't like, though. for instance, i dislike hauck's behavior with the media. another example is all the blah blah blah-ing about the 3-3-5.
as a side note, and sorta in defense of those making suggestions about changes to personnel, schemes, etc, i'm pretty sure they know hauck et al won't read any of it and wouldn't care if he did. those who don't realize it, are a little out to lunch, so to speak.

No, I'm saying it RTD was never a stated goal, or in the famous list. And he hasn't said RTD for multiple years, to my knowledge. He stopped saying it. And we've already RTD'ed.

no i wasn't. i know you wouldn't listen to me if i cared enough to even try, which i don't. agree with you about my writing skills. i am ok when writing about scientific subjects and being serious, but on social media i am sometimes a little difficult to comprehend. mea culpa.

By using our logic, none of those ex-grizzly football players from the past that have kids on the cats right now can't be a fan of both the griz or cats..

Coaches are public figures which opens them up to more criticism than posters on egriz. I also have not heard any of our coaches name call and insult someone with “you are an idiot never played the gamer that knows nothing about football”, like we see all the time on egriz.

Bobby could use some attitude adjustment on how he deals with the media but even though he never played the game at the collegiate level he’s not narcissistic douche bag like the poster you’re referring to.

Bobby was a really good intramural football player and his brother played in the NFL. So while he did not play football himself for the Griz, he has been around the game his whole life and does not think of football the same way as the “never played the gamers” referred to on egriz. Bobby Hauck’s dad was a big shot high school football coach.
