The Season - Don't disrespect them, praise them

They won 13 games, placed 2nd in the Big Sky Conference, and made it to the semifinals.
Had high academics. Had a great time. Improved considerably over the season. Went deep in the playoffs. Will likely end up ranked 3d in nation. Had some very nice wins. Kept everyone out of trouble. Entertained the fans. Brought in alot of money for UM athletics.

You attend or watch games, or at least follow the team.

Ah Yat was the only 4,000 yard passer in the nation

Frank is a straight up douchebag. I even asked players during the season about what they thought of Frank, first thing was he's weird and the second was he doesn't know shit which is why we don't read the Missoulian.

Unfortunately, reality is that you just reinforced that the Cat losses will overshadow everything that happened this year.
I disagree. I will remember it for the year ah yat came of age, and who knows, could've been the launch of a natty winning career for him...

On a side note, while your patting each other on the back. NASHVILLE is rocking tonight with lots of blue and gold at kid rocks bar.

Because the point remains apt. Bobby’s relationship with the media has thawed a bit , but he still generally gives them next to nothing and acts annoyed to even have to be there.
Call me crazy, but I guess I’d rather have a coach who’s mean to the media rather than one who continues to employ drunk drivers on their third offense or those that are willing to lie to law enforcement and not take accountability for their actions.

like a lot of posters in this thread, i thought it was a great season, but what i'm going to remember is losing to the bobs in the semifinals.

also, a note to greenie: haven't you learned yet that telling other people how they should think or act is counterproductive? you are only going to harden their opinions, most of which seem to match mine. :)

Yeah this isn’t an either or situation. Hauck does not like the media. He basically says as much in QB Club. Not sure why he can’t just be a cordial human to the media instead of acting like every question is dumb, even if it is. Would make life a lot easier for him. Doing media is part of being a coach, it’s clear he does not enjoy it, but he should at least go through the motions in a way that represents the university in a good way.

That’s all fluff for media guides and marketing. Not real substance. Beat. Fucking. State.

As the saying goes “Those convinced against their will, are of the same opinion still”.

Yeah, no doubt! It’s somewhat like telling a coach or coaches how to run a defense and how they should interact with the media.

Those are all great accomplishments, but I was thinking more about what Bobby has been talking about...win the conference, beat the cats go to/win the Natty and RTD.

Hauck doesn’t act like every question is dumb. Only reacts that way to some of the dumb questions. I have never heard him say he doesn’t like the media. He didn’t like Fritz or Frank. He doesn’t like dumb questions from media.

Where’s the RTD goal? Haven’t seen. We already have returned to basically where we were. Sorry, but we are going to miss run the championship most of the time. Conf is uneven now. Winning it doesn’t mean as much. The other goals I mentioned are more important and realistic. Yes, I want to make a hundred million every year, but don’t see it as a failure not to get there
