Yeah this isn’t an either or situation. Hauck does not like the media. He basically says as much in QB Club. Not sure why he can’t just be a cordial human to the media instead of acting like every question is dumb, even if it is. Would make life a lot easier for him. Doing media is part of being a coach, it’s clear he does not enjoy it, but he should at least go through the motions in a way that represents the university in a good way.

The media has a history of treating him and UM poorly. Thus, he disrespects them and is not capable of playing up to them because he's not a phony.
