Wilkinson transferring

You're clueless. The best cover corner rarely stunts. I'm imagining you as Jimmy's D-coordinator with the Cowboys, stunting Sander instead of Smith or Marion, and how quickly you would have been fired.
Jimmy Johnson ran the defense in Dallas and Deion Sanders never played for him. Do you mean as Barry Switzer’s defensive coordinator?

What is your opinion on why he lined up always or mostly on the left side? I did not notice that thank you for pointing it out. Do you think this was related to the scheme or so he would have more favorable angles for tackling or pressing that minimized contact on his left shoulder versus if he lined up on the right side?
I assume it was due to his shoulder injury. I had dinner the night before the first playoff game with the parents of another d-back. They told me Loud would be back but only play on one side, I think the left side. They also said the defensive game plan and scheme would be the least complex of the season. Didn't say why. Some of you clowns want to attack me for playing 50 years ago, but my response is that while I learned a lot then and over the decades, I get much of what I say now from current and former coaches, former and current players, and parents of current players. This is one good example. This is why I have a large following on egriz. People know from years of experience that I get good info and I don't post stuff just off the top of my head. While I said these 2 things previously, I didn't notice anyone else on the board saying these things. There are some parents of players who look at egriz, and even post occasionally, including some dads of the secondary; so they would have known these things.

Care to elaborate on why you think it is a dumb post rather than just insult it with no substance?
The terms cover corner and stronger corner are not even terms used regularly by coaches in this context. Instead, everyone who is in the game, played before, or is educated in the craft uses: Field Corner vs. Boundary Corner.
-Generally, field corners align to the wide side of the field; need more speed and space coverage ability. Boundary corners align to the short side; often more physical, support the run, handle quick throws.

Additionally, Force Corners - Some defensive systems designate a corner as the force player in run support.

Lastly, Nickel, Star, or Spur - Slot defenders who sometimes take on hybrid run-support roles, but they’re not called “strong corners.”

You're welcome - take notes and give your Daddy "Hike" a call to let him know you learned something. Then share it with him as he is more.clueless than you are.

You are treating 2 completely different concepts like they are the same thing, which shows you have a low grasp of how defenses actually operate. Field vs boundary is a geometry driven alignment rule, it describes where a corner lines up relative to the hash marks. Cover vs strong role types deal with assignment, leverage and usage within the coverage structure, which can change with formation strength, motion or match rules. Field vs boundary and cover vs strong are describing completely different things. You are the one who is clueless at least in terms of understanding cover and strong corners as is evidenced by your post.

Dude it's field and boundary corner regardless of which one is lined up on the strong side of the formation.

Good grief. Proving why no one in eGriz.com can take you seriously.

You forgot weird didn't you?
That’s just you. And fuck you too. You trolls are absolute weirdos. You live over here taking jabs at the Griz and the fans when your team is getting ready for a national championship. Your team beat the Griz twice to get that chance. Why can’t you go over to your own board and enjoy it with all your other circle jerk buddies instead of being ass hat trolls here
