bub translation: “we didn’t want him anyway.”I can see why Parker was gone immediately as it was partner assault.
There’s two.What did I miss?
No, that was a position where we needed a transfer with experience. The Cats wanted him. Too bad he screwed up.bub translation: “we didn’t want him anyway.”
That’s one.
Vigen has had significant character issues in his time at msu. Alcoholic and abusive assistant coaches that he refuses to hold accountable, and bringing in recruits with domestic abusive problems. Isn't it time that "enough is enough", and vigen is held accountable? I dont think he has the backbone to hold others accountable and hold his coaches and players to a standard. No, that was a position where we needed a transfer with experience. The Cats wanted him. The two players did not have any record of domestic abuse problems before they came in. One of the coaches had an alcohol problem before coming in. He had been sober for a good period of time I believe before coming to MSU. I never heard of any domestic abuse problems before with the other coach. His alcohol problem surfaced after coming to MSU.Vigen has had significant character issues in his time at msu. Sounds like a lot of excuses and lack of any sort of ability to judge character. Unless there is something about bozeman and / or the athletic dept that magically develops these issues once they make it to campus. Or might it be a leadership that lacks the ability to hold people accountable ?The two players did not have any record of domestic abuse problems before they came in. Or, there followed the law and didn't waste money paying lawsuits like UM.Or maybe its a case of the coaches were more important to “retain” then the kid.
Probably a failure of the crystal ball!Sounds like a lot of excuses and lack of any sort of ability to judge character. A post like this unmasks the Scats on eGriz.
I agree, its absolutely nothing to joke about. I think its a serious problem at msu currently. There seems to be a lack of oversight and accountability within the program. The boosters need to hold them accountable. The only people a post like this "unmasks" are the assholes who celebrate a domestic assault case because it happened on the rival sports team and not their own. And there are Bobcat fans who are also assholes and have done the same thing in the past. Don't be an asshole, it's easy.

We all know that perfect is the enemy of good, but maybe they should stop hiring violent alcoholics to coach the team? What would you like them to do, personally supervise all 105 players on the roster 24 hours a day to make sure they aren't doing anything stupid? Serious question, how do you stop this kind of thing from ever happening with a 100% success rate? Because not a single NCAA program has ever managed to do that to this point.
Its become systemic. 3 coaches and at least 2 players w abuse and/or alcohol problems. Vigen hasn't been there that long. Its something that needs to be examined by the new president. What would you like them to do, personally supervise all 105 players on the roster 24 hours a day to make sure they aren't doing anything stupid? Nick, in all seriousness, where is this mythical football program that has never had any issues with its players?Sounds like a lot of excuses and lack of any sort of ability to judge character. Holier than thou!? The answer is obvious. You as a fan (booster) are being pathetic by rationalizing thr behavior and suggesting 5+ serious incidents by players AND coaches is somehow out of anyone's control. Its call being a leader. Demand accountability. Hold everyone to a standard. Bring people in with character. If you cant do that, you probably shouldn't be a head coach. And yes, things happen and 1 incident doesn't define a program or coach. But MSU has had a TON. Somehow MSU is getting away with it, and it comes down to boosters not holding the dept accountable.Agreed, hiring Garza as DC was a dumb move. Doesn't answer the question I asked about how to prevent off-field issues among a group of 105 players with a 100% success rate. Looking forward to some serious answers there if we're going to go all holier than thou in this thread.
Now you're making excuses for them ?! A football program that RETAINS 2 coaches that get DUIs, and one that crashed a vehicle, and is having multiple players dismissed for domestic abuse. Within like 3 years.... WTF are you smoking ??Nick, in all seriousness, where is this mythical football program that has never had any issues with its players?
