So, I don't actually think they played worse on Nov 18, 2023. They didn't play their best sure, but I think they just got beat by a better team that day. It wasn't a "Cats played their worst game"... To say that the Cats played their "Worst Game" in the Brawl last year is taking away from how well the Griz played in it.
I think 2 things can be true. The Griz absolutely were the better team and the cats did not play their best game either. They looked like they did not prepare for the game. I seriously believe that the whole team was convinced they were gonna be able to come in and run on us for over 400 yards like they did in '22. And Marty's quote is accurate, they did play hard and tough, just not very good or disciplined.

Yeah it is clear they cannot play from behind. That was true last year and the trend is continuing
Looking back at a bunch of these posts... so cute! Cats are $hitty, zero chance of coming back, getting embarrassed on national TV and embarrassing the Big Sky, Tommy can't pass, etc.

Did you see all those phenomenal, clutch throws he made during the comeback? Those were damn good passes, under a lot of pressure.

They should have been clutch throws, the bobcats had nearly 4 quarters to figure out how to dry Tommy’s hands.

I did, and I also saw UNM do everything in their power to loose the game as well. Hats off to them for coming back but UNM did give up playing football.

With wet hands, no less!

Cats can't play catch up with the run game the whole time, they have to let it fly.
Turns out
Let the record reflect that I was one of the first people to say the cats would probably lose this game.

Post in thread 'Week 0 &1 FCS vs FBS Who pulls the upset' https://egriz.com/threads/week-0-1-fcs-vs-fbs-who-pulls-the-upset.94042/post-1661429
I was thinking PR made this prediction first, but yes maybe you did it first, and then he did. Either way, both of you were wrong. lol

I was really close which in cat logic is the same as being right. Ask your pal Monymony.

How is it possible that the cats couldn't pass or catch all game and now they can't seem to miss?
Because it's the first game of the season, and sometimes it takes a while to get things figured out and dialed in with the passing game... especially against a team with 60 new players and MSU coaches having basically zero idea what schemes they were going to throw at them.

So you're reading through and commenting on all the posts from the game thread on your rival's board? You need a hobby.

Yes, while watching a movie I've seen 30 times. I enjoy looking back at some of the stupid comments, cocky griz fans that were convinced the Cats were getting blown out, only to find that they demonstrated incredible heart in one of the craziest comebacks you'll see in college football. I think it makes a lot of griz fans nervous.

Yeah, we're over here just shaking in our boots. Enjoy your delusion.

It was a good comeback, but it wasn't a crazy comeback and certainly wasn't one of the craziest. Not even close. Neither the game nor the comeback makes me nervous at all. In fact, the whole game shows me that the Cats aren't very good at this point and have lots of problems and issues to fix. You really don't understand football, and as I like to say, you are delusional about the Cats.

I enjoy watching this at least 30 times

This is even better, definitely more than 30 times

This is hilarious on multiple levels:
  1. You bragging about that shitshow;
  2. Spending time not only on your rival’s board but also digging through old game threads;
  3. I bet the BM game thread was way worse. Early on, did you want vegan fired, or the drunk coordinators back? I wouldn’t know because I have a life and would never waste a moment on your board let alone digging thru an old game thread; which leads to the best one
  4. Your life is embarrassingly pathetic, no friends, never been with a girl, so sad.
