Not if cat fans were doing all the wagering. No actual handicappers cared. Some may have seen an easy win with the delusional kitty optimism.

Mendenhall is a good coach and he has UNM looking solid. They may surprise in conference. They have 20 more scholarships and 14 power five dropdowns in the fold. Playing mistake free which is pretty darn good for an August game. Only difference is 2 scoop and scores. So no it's not embarassing for the conference.
