Yeah you just don't get to tell me what I am talking about.......but thanks for playing Urinal!

Yah I don't care what your claim is. You don't know anything about football or just trying to troll poorly so I don't care. If you read the discussion. Was about the claim of him being the best fcs qb ever and I vehemently disagree.
He's easily the best FCS QB ever that's not even a discussion worth having.
I agree. He's projected to be the first qb drafted. How is there even a counter argument to that? Was any other fcs qb taken first? Like McNair? Do these posters think they're smarter than the draft gurus?

Yes...McNair was the 3rd overall pick, and the first qb taken in the 1995 draft by some guy named Jeff Fisher. Kijana Carter was over all first pick, a RB from Penn State. If I recall he had some injury issues that ended his career. Tony Boselli was 2nd overall....the same one that just missed the HOF this year. Kerry Collins was two picks after McNair.

McNair brought an entirely different dimension to the game. There would be no Cam Newton's or Russell Wilson's without McNair. He did it first, he changed the game. That's why anyone that thinks Wentz is the best coming out of FCS is either just blowing smoke, or toking it....they simply don't know or won't acknowledge it, and posters like AG are not really posting as a person....its a persona created to post drama.

Speaking of the best ever FCS QB, wasn't Kurt Warner technically FCS? I know he had an obscure path to the NFL but you can't argue with what he did once he got there.....

Great.That's all fine and dandy.
So if Wentz is the 2nd overall pick, as projected, doesn't that pretty much settle it? Lemme guess? We need 17 more pages about how there's not enough info because he's just starting his pro career
[I almost said, "if Wentz goes #2.." But that sounded weird]

Yep, Northern Iowa - undrafted. According to wiki he was competing that first year with Brett Favre, Mark Brunell and Ty Detmer. Steve Marucci QB coach, and Andy Reid OC. Brutal introduction, but he worked his way up from Arenal.

Of course not, Wentz would only go 2nd because Browns need a qb. At that time the Bengals had a young David Klinger & Jeff Blake, while the the Jags had Mark Brunell (their all time leading passer) & veteran Stever Beurlein. Teams draft their needs, not always the best available. If Browns didn't need qb, then Wentz would drop to 7th.

Steve Young thanks McNair!

Ha! Analyzing NFL backups from like 30 years ago. Nice
For a minute there, I thought you were serious

Backup? Obviously you don't know or at least understand the NFL. In 1995 Both Jeff Blake and Mark Brunell had considerable upside. You cant choose the frame reference 30 years later and make that decision. In fact, Brunell would start for the Jags for the next 7 years. Blake was a starter for all but the last 2 years of his career. As of this moment both have had greater success in the NFL than Wentz.

Their grasping at straws is very telling.......

Could be worse, I could be a fake persona grasping at BS. The schnitk is old....and about as funny as watching rocks grow. Time to grow up, and move on.

Carson Wentz is the best FCS prospect I've laid eyes on in my lifetime. John Elway is the best FBS prospect I've laid eyes on. (I can't stand Elway or the Broncos but I can't definitively come up with who would be second on the list) It becomes complicated when you start thinking about where Wentz will end up. As many of you know, Elway told the Colts to go and F..K themselves. It seemed to be spot on thinking as the Colts were a sh!t pile until they were able to land a #1 prospect. (I know Harbaugh took them to the AFC Championship against the Steelers, but please spare me the meaningless hand grenades and stats as they are f.....g meaningless at this juncture)... :egriz:

He could be one of the best FCS NFL QBs of all time, but it remains to be seen. I watched the game where Joe Flacco and Delaware beat Navy 59-52, where Flacco went 30/41 for 434 yards and 4 TDs. Dude could throw.

Right now, here is a list of Big Sky QBs with a better NFL career than Wentz:
Doug Nussmeier
Jon Freisz
Jamie Martin

That all being said, he's welcome to come to St. Louis (err LA), can't be any worse than what we got now.

And that's why cat fans drink, absorb and wallow in mediocrity!
