There will never be another FCS QB better than Wentz in our lifetime. I'm really glad I got to see him play at our house. I think Stick has the potential to be another Brock Jensen. He'll get a lot more comfortable back there. How many points will you win the title by this year?
Someone mentioned Joe Flacco, but he was a drop down FBS QB. Tony Romo was better at the same age, and we beat him in our house too. IMO even Dickenson was better, but perhaps I'm just a homer that way.
And perhaps not in your lifetime but most certainly in mine were Steve McNair (Alcorn St), Ken O'Brien (Cal-Davis) and Phil Simms (Morehead State).
No way you can anoint him better than Simms and Romo IMO.

God Alphie, your reality quotient just went down 50% with this ridiculous post. You sound like Wally telling us how great players are who have never played a down of college football. Comparing a college kid to several All-Pro NFL players is..... well..... ridiculous.
Oh, and you can stop lying about the MO Club back door thing, which you know never happened. I have never met you, and wouldn't know you if you were sitting in front of me. I don't run from anybody. If you wanted to meet me so badly, why didn't you approach me at the Griz practice where you took your cute little stalking video? I was right there dude!
You are an even bigger pussy denying the Mo Club incident happened. We dont expect much from you but you could at least be honest since Savage Paw, Omega Griz and Sinisterside were all there and watched you cower your friends step in between us and you slithered out the back door.Atlanta Griz1 said:ALPHAGRIZ1 said:Bullshit coming out of college Wentz is more talented than any of the QBs on your list and he actually won championships in college unlike the others so that points towards him being a better leader as well.ordigger said:BornGrizz said:https://streamable.com/j8e7

Im surprised its not a NFL/NBA factory.
Bismarck is a great place to live. If you are an outdoorsman who loves upland game/waterfowl hunting and walleye fishing, you couldn't pick a better place to live.
No..Bismarck is a nice place to live if you have to choose somewhere in North Dakota....if you can live anywhere else...it is pure shit. I dont know many more towns that depress me more than Bismarck...it would have to be Williston, Minot, Dickinson, Bismarck.....in that order for most depressing.
Some people like large cities, some people like the coast, some people like the Midwest. If you didn't take advantage of the pheasant hunting and walleye fishing while you were there, you missed out.
In terms of a city, it is not a shithole. Very clean, growing, low crime rate, great schools and very low unemployment. So many more places worse to live. As someone who grew up in North Dakota, it is very cool to have someone like Carson be the ambassador that he has been.

Careful about offending the scenery snobs on this board that think Missoula is the ultimate slice of Shangri-La. I live near a metroplex that is so booming in its economy that the forest is all construction cranes, and the area has just committed to a program of support and development of facilities for the lower divisions of the NCAA.
To the people who run down a community after seeing it from the vantage point of a moving car window - if your personality type allows it - try to make some friends there first, and then see how you feel about the place.
It always amazes me how they call every other point on the globe a "shit hole", but turn around and in the next breath exclaim all the wonderful memories of the last time they got drunk in Butte.

Bud, I've lived in Bismarck, Watford City, Missoula, and now live in Frisco the city you're reffering to. I know its largely peoples opinions of what makes a nice city, but when it comes to the actual economic and planning qualifications of what makes a nice city I can assure you I am qualified more so than most on this board to make that statement. Unless someone on this board is FAICP, (im sure PlayaRep is).

Eriul said:Guy hasn't played an nfl snap, broke no real fcs records, and while he is an athlete has not even sort of proven himself(honestly you rotate him with most starting qbs in the fcs and they still win the titles.) Obviously he is a great player but even comparing him to Flacco, Romo, Fitzpatrick, Simms, McNair is just straight up ignorant and way too ambitious. He could be great but it is way too soon to tell.

You will never break records playing QB in NDSU's offensive system, but what you will do is learn an offense that helps you a ton in transitioning into the NFL. Carson would also be the first person to tell you he gave zero f***[*] about breaking records. He did everything it took to win and walked out of there with 5 national championships. My cousin plays on the team. He said that even after Wentz went down, he was the first guy in the film room and last to leave. He was an incredibly special player. I saw that guy do more pre snap than 99% of QB's do in college. On top of being physically gifted, he is extremely grounded and very intelligent. 4.0 lifetime student and scored a 40 on his wonderlic. Two time academic all American. Most of the guys who flame out in the NFL do so because they are mentally weak or just plain stupid. I don't see that with this guy.
As far as stats go, he was on pace for a gigantic season this year and was clearly the Walter Payton front runner before he went down. If you had projected his stats out for a full year, he was on pace to throw over 3,500 yards, pass for 35 TD's, Rush for 630 yards and 15 TD's.
