You mean, making the cat defense look absolutely silly, or are you looking for something a little more specific than that?
I always said that you outstanding Griz fans rate your whole season on one game :thumb:
Yes we do.
It's called the National Championship.
Cool, you have no argument for my statements that the fizz had an average offense in 2011 and that the defense carried your team that year, so having that QB back on the roster doesn't mean nearly as much as all of you think it does, and the smartest thin your coach could do would be to change the offense.
SO you change my post in your reply and change the subject. It the sign of a weak mind. :thumb:
I want you to go back and look at the last 5 D1 games the Griz team from 2011 played, and compare them to the last 5 D1 games that the Cats played that year. So by your definition, the Cat's offense was below average
Oh, and McGhee must've been a below average QB too, since McGhee's numbers those last 5 games were not even CLOSE to JJ's.
Oh who am I kidding, you'd rather spew inaccuracies and make stuff up than actually know what you are talking about...so here you go, here are the numbers:
In the last 5 D1 games (including playoffs), the Griz averaged 455 total yards of offense each game (226 passing, 229 rushing), and 39.6 points per game. Sounds a little better than average to me.
Now lets look at the Cats the last 5 D1 games the same year (including playoffs): 395 yds per game total offense (203 passing, 192 rushing), and 29.4 points per game. Ouch.... If the Griz were just "average", then the Cats were way below average... That sucks for you
Lets compare QBs in that same period of time:
JJ:
Passing: 88 - 141 (62.4%), 1071yds, 14td, 3int
154.7 Efficiency Rating
Rushing: 39 for 256yds (6.56yds per carry), 2td
-
McGhee:
Passing: 80 - 138 (58%), 1015yds, 7td, 7int
126.3 Efficiency Rating
Rushing: 36 - 138yds (3.83yds per carry), 2td
-
Ok, I'll take our "Average" offense scoring 39.6 points per game, and a QB with a 154.7 efficiency rating over what you guys had going on the last 5 games of the season in 2011
