Helena really needs to give Engstrom the one year hiatus in Griz football he asked for last year so we'll all have time to sort out - in no particular order of importance - should UM going run the Pistol or the single wing, will JJ decide he looks better in purple, will Delaney find he has enough coming in from Social Security to retire, will RE have an epiphany that honesty is the best policy, blah blah blah... :?:

Sadly JJ is going to sit this coming year. Just heard we have a transfer coming in as a dropdown. The name I'm hearing is Dra Gon. I hear he can really light things up, and torch the defenses. Guess his nickname is Puff, and he's magic out there.
 
Changing the offense can actually be a smart move when you are playing a school (Weber) that has your old coach who designed the offense for you. Jus sayin....

Wow... I swear to God I think I get dumber after every post I read on this site... and I was pretty dumb to begin with. Are you saying that Delaney would revamp the entire offense in order to game plan around one team on your 12 game schedule... a team that really isn't even very good right now?

Dude, I can only tell you what I heard. And part of what I'd heard is that Delaney is enamored with Gustafson. In addition, I at no point said I had heard that JJ was transferring, only that at first glance, he was not happy with the playbook. Seems like you're inferring quite a bit on my post based on what that other poster said (i.e. JJ's family, Pflu, etc.), which anyone can see is far-fetched at best. You're also lumping me in with this whole RE/Williams/Delaney/Grassy Knoll conspiracy theory, which I never said a single thing about. I'll state it unequivocally one again: I want nothing more than for Delaney and his staff to succeed, but nothing they have done to this point (beyond recruiting) inspires confidence that that will be the case. I sincerely, for the good of the program, hope I am wrong.
 
If any of this is true (and I doubt it)and JJ goes to WEeber (or Carol) whats going to happen to all those #10 jerseys everybody is ordering????

Everyone! please, just relax. Jordan Johnson is not going anywhere, and they did not totally scrap the old offense. They wil be using a pro-style offense that will still allow Jordy to do all the things he did in the past. After reading many of the posts, I decided to call my son who is on the team and asked him what is truly going. He told me exactly what was going on, and encourage me to stop reading some of the posts because so many of you have no idea what is going and what you're talking about. I will continue to read the posts while ignoring some of the crazy stuff that is posted. God's blessings to all in Griz Nation.
