It's a little odd that they don't post photos taken during the 9-month winter season in the Greater (Grander) Fargoes area.

When I first saw this post, I thought, "Do they get a long winter there?"
Then, I did some more research, and it honestly looks like the worst place to live in the lower 48. Nine months of winter? Ooof Duhs. (I learned that they say that).

There was a missing person in Grand Forks, about 20 years ago, who was found come spring, when the snow melted from a drifted area. Told to me by a UND student.

A non-student was found on the campus recently with almost frozen limbs. Rumor was he was a Missoula resident hippie and a poster here, jealous of UND’s sports facilities and academic offerings, but was dumb enough to wear Birkenstock sandals. He tried to collect scat for a fire like he does on the Missoula and San Francisco streets, but couldn’t find turds laying around like back in those places.

Another rumor was that this Montanan was desperate to find sheep for company. He should have looked 90 miles south at NDSU. He'd feel at home there as there is scat to burn and sheep to cavort with.

you need to develop multiple new targets. current schtick is aging fast.

I can’t imagine living in UNDies’ world. Super flat out there but it makes for a really big horizon with all kinds of things just out of sight.

Like Elon Musk’s super tunnels connecting the Golden Corrall to the Fargo Dome. The biggest delay has been fear of fats literally clogging the artery and the need for a bypass route.

Or the huge wave of tourists visiting the state who are not lost or just passing thru.

They even planted a tree in the town square. The initial reports of it dying a lonely death were overblown. It did die, of course, because nothing can grow there, but it was not because of the wind. Tragically, it was a victim of a hate crime. Hard for any outsider to take root there
