Who are UM's peers?

So If I'm reading this correctly, in the near future Royce is not only going to be responsible for the University of Montana becoming a community college but he's also going to be blamed for the collapse of Bank of America.

Holy Shit!!!

Correct. And he invested heavily in ISU and UNC junk bonds (which is rather duplicative when you think about it).

We should be proud that the UM peers are Northern Colorado, Southern Utah, Eastern Washington, Portland State.

Yes, because at the current rate of decline caused by UM's declining enrollment, budget cuts, program cuts, faculty cuts, and negative press under Engstrom's "leadership", UM may soon be looking up at those schools.

PR sounds more and more bittter, like somebody whose "insider" connections are slipping, slipping, slipping away. Give it a rest PR. Somebody call Alpha, the dog needs kicked.

So, some of you geniuses think that an engineering job from MSU is a good bet in a recession? They will be the first to go. Who will be investing in construction and manufacturing under the '75 and PR doomsday scenario?

 Royce "Milken" Engstrom. Prolly banking billions on UNC junk bonds, ISU penny stocks and UM inverse ITFs!

Is there anyone out there that thinks Royce Engstrom is doing a good job at UM?

Hard to believe, but some of the posts seem to indicate there are a few that think he is doing a good job. Maybe they don't care?

I was referencing the economic forecast not the administration. I've been complaining for years about the lack of UM promotions outside of Missoula. I not sure that has anything to do with the president per se. Nor do I know if Royce Engstrom is to blame for falling enrollment. I do know UM took in some enormous grants or research awards last year. The biggest ever if I recall. Maybe the school has to find an ideal size. Who gives a damn if it's a few thousand less than MSU? They are still little brother and always will be.
