They are all the same..one leads to another..apparently, people whose legs, arms have been blown off, or now live homeless due to PTSD are not casualties....but when I see them every week, I see casualties...more than one has asked me to "end" things...the oil wars are simply wrong....Now, as to the Griz, I hope they pound MSU in front of a good student crowd...which should be on the sidelines and not under the basket...CrunchGriz said:PlayerRep said:GrizLA said:In retrospect, with thousands of dead Americans, hundreds of thousands of Iraq citizens dead, billions of dollars Missing, and nothing really gained but a limited share of oil, perhaps those protestors should have been supported by all who really know what patriotism truly is....I remember watching that game in Chicago and hearing people praise UM...as i recall, the Griz lost that game...84GRIZ said:Maybe someone has the video from the Idaho game in January 1991 that made SportCenter. That was the game when the Iraq anti-war protesters ran out and laid on the floor right before tipoff and the Zoo pelted them with the potato's that they had brought for the Vandals. When the cops dragged the protesters off the floor the whole place started chanting "USA, USA, USA"
From Wikipedia on US casualties in Gulf War. Low hundreds, not thousands. In case anyone cares about accuracy.
"The DoD reports that U.S. forces suffered 148 battle-related deaths (35 to friendly fire), with one pilot listed as MIA (his remains were found and identified in August 2009). A further 145 Americans died in non-combat accidents."
Just referring to the wrong Gulf War....
