what happened the night of the Foresters Ball?

OK I know this will sound not PC but, how does it take one month to know if you have been raped?

I've wasted hours of my workday talking about stuff like this to a female coworker. She claims girls are scared to file rape charges because they think they'll be labeled a slut, ect. and if it was with a football player she'd be labeled an outcast to the community and could never live or go to school in Missoula from that day forward.

I said if someone rapes me or a family member that guy is either dead or in jail. End of story.

"You just don't understand, you're a guy" she says.

In JJ's case do we know she said no at any point? Is it proven that she went and picked him up and took him to her house? Beau's recorded conversation is clearer evidence that he knew he didn't have her consent. Different scenarios unless more is known about the JJ situation.

Unfortunately I made a poor decision to go back and read the missoulian comments on the article. Clearly this msla mom of 5 girls is a little paranoid. Here's an exerpt from another of her posts...

3. Then next Donaldson who got drunk one night, jumped into bed with another drunk and rape was called. Now we have Johnson and God knows where this is going. Does anyone else see a pattern here? Someone is pulling the strings and finding these girls. I do not believe in coindences----something is cooking here! This is either the most innept management I have ever seen or a colussion to take out the Griz and everyone associated, right to the top. I am sorry folks, but I think either way, we are seeing a legacy destroyed. Beau's done, Jordy's done, whose next? This is not passing the smell test for me---someone or some group is behind this. Think about it!

I know Bear Axed is being sarcastic in his post, if anyone takes a single missoulian "comments" post seriously then they need to have their heads examined.

BTW I did hear that JJ has now hired the powerful lawfirm of Kessman, Forcier, and Rodamer.
ouch coffee burns when it comes out the nose

Ya think she is a bit paranoid? Sheesh. She and John Trochmann are conspircists of the year. Maybe she has the real truth behind the Kennedy assasination.

From UM's Code of Conduct

Athletes
The athlete conduct code holds athletes to a higher standard than the normal student conduct code. It reads:
"Underage drinking is prohibited at all times. Violations of this policy could result in the suspension from the team, loss of athletics aid or being withheld from participation for a period of time."

Just thought I'd throw this one out there.

innocent until proven guilty....

howewer in the current hysteria, the witch trials of public opinion rage on...

no matter what- JJ and his colleagues are stained with these charges no matter what truth may be revealed...

what a sorry mess,

If that was enforced, we wouldn't have a team.

Usually restraining orders and alleged rapes aren't involved with 19 year-old star QBs who are wasted in public at an on-campus party. It's one thing to have some beers with the fellas off-campus, but to show up visibly drunk at the FB is just bad, bad judgement.

Besides, we don't even know if Nutso mom of 5 is even close to an accurate source.

So I return to this thread a day later and I see people are taking ANONYMOUS COMMENTS from a newspaper site that requires NO VERIFICATION OF TRUTH in what you're posting.

And people believe it as gospel truth.

Really?

Really?

REALLY?

Just when the general population of egriz can't get any dumber... it does, and that's saying a lot b/c growler nor D2 has posted in this thread. (and yes I'm presuming that Bear Axed was being sarcastic in his OP, but some of the followups... wow... just... wow).

I guess not, so if I went and created an account there that posted, "JJ was never near the foresters ball, I know b/c we were hanging out playing Xbox360 all night" people would take that for 100% truth as well?

sigh...

We don't even know if JJ attended the FB. I don't think football players go to that event these days. The security tossed out people who were very drunk, according to the Missoulian.

Again, you have no clue what college kids do and have done for years. You seem surprised that they drink, have sex, do drugs, or make any mistakes. How about the underage Bobcat athletes who were out in public beating the heck out of each other? Did that shock you too? You really need to get out of your house a bit more, or at least do some reading.

I think UM's Womens teams would get hit the hardest, to be honest. As far as underage drinking suspensions. Our Lady Griz can DRINK!

Don't you get sick of lecturing educated, intelligent people, to try to get them to meet your ridiculous self-imposed standards? You are a joke.
