What are the Chances of only one loss this year?

Monmouth would have beaten App State and UND by 70 each!! We just have not played anyone very good yet. I am very concerned. :shit: :shit:

The season hasn't even really begun guys.

Team is looking great but its going to be a LONG GRIND after cupcake state next week till the finish line.

If we keep playing lights out and keep injuries down then yes I see us playing till we lose one game in January.
The season has begun. Perhaps you were asleep, seeing that you're in a different time zone.

Edit: and f*** you on that January loss! I'm sick and tired of supposed Griz fans sucking NDSU's dick. f*** NDSU!

f***[*] quitters!

Lol take some valium or something.

Just saying if we go uninjured mostly and continue on the same path the only possible might come at the NC in January.

And IMO the real hard or main part of the season HAS NOT begun nor has conference play since this last game didn't count as a conference game. APP state really was a shell of itself this year compared to what was expected and UND was weak as well without their QB they had last year as I expected.

In addition we have had a crappy 2nd week bye and Panhandle state next week, also adding to the sense the real season is yet to begin.

The combined records of the two teams we have beat is 1-4 and OKPSU is 1-2 right now. I really need to see how the Griz stack up against a stronger team. Once conference play gets going we will know a lot more about how the Griz stack up against better opponents.

I respect post in that it is obvious that the most difficult part of our season remains,,,however I think you may have missed the fact that the MENTAL part of our season has been passed with an A,,,this team could have folded with the likes of the reputation of app state etc, their United theme has been passed imo and that is a big deal....

This is absolutely true Brint, but I am really not sure how strong the BSC is this year. EWU looks impressive. MSU - not so much and NAU is a crap shoot right now. The California teams and Souther Utah are also unknowns. I agree that once conference play starts we will have a better idea of how the Griz stack up. SDSU should have beaten UND by three touchdowns minimum. Not sure what happened in that game, but UND is by no means a top tier team. Having said that, the Griz could have beaten them by 50 if they wanted to pour it on. I don't know what the first two games really mean - other than the Griz are focused, fast, strong and a force to be reckoned with. I think you would be hard pressed to find another FCS team with so many talented players at skill positions like running back, receiver, QB, fullback, etc. Hell, we have not really seen what kind of tight ends we have this year for catching passes. So many damn weapons it is almost ridiculous. I don't know the answer to this, but when was the last time a Griz QB completed passes to so many different receivers?

The fact of the matter is we will begin conference play 3-0. Naysayers were predicting 1-2 or even 2-1but this group of young men and some very hardworking coaches have shown that we are a contender. The closed practices and dual offensive coordinators has paid off. I hope Mick keeps up the good work and the players look only to the next game. This is a team I have a lot faith and belief in.......stay healthy my friends!

Oh yeah, agreed, I love what I'm seeing from the Griz so far. The Big Sky I think has good top end talent in UM, EWU, and MSU. NAU isn't too far off although a 21-10 win over Davis was kind of iffy. Poly and MSU are both dealing with QB injuries. PSU took Cal to the wire. After that though it kind of drops off.

From what I hear, SDSU kept on doing what they had done all game and UND finally came to life. And it sounds like SDSU couldn't stop them. I'm not tryin to build any false confidence or take anything away from UND when I say this, but, IMO, I think if the Griz wanted to run the score up even more, they could have. And UND just couldn't get anything going with what the Griz were dealing to them. An outstanding scheme, excellent play calling, and execution of the plays called. They really thought that the Griz were gonna come out running and it didn't happen til after they seen the passing game and thought they were getting into a shoot out. Then the 2 Headed Monster of the running game showed up and they (UND) looked lost and had no idea what to expect next.

A Valium on top of all that beer might have killed me, for all I know.

Look, any time I fly a bit off the handle like that, I mean it the same as if we were sitting at a bar watching the game together and are comfortable enough to call each other an asshole without a fight erupting. Like friends. No offense intended.

But I'm serious about the message. NDSU is just a football team. They are not gods. They're not infallible. If we keep playing like we have been, we can beat them. I'm not saying we will, but I can't stand the ass-kissing that seems to prevail here.

This.

Griz will handle NAU. Cal Poly will be an issue as they always play the griz tough, and option football is option football. I have a feeling EWOO has the possibility of being an epic game. There will be a let down game somewhere, just how football works. It is early, but I will give ten to anyone who wants to wager on the Cat game.

Way to early to guess, we've beat two teams that aren't very good. Ask it again after the NAU game, that'll be a huge test

Correction:

We've STOMPED two teams; one that is a traditional FCS power house on their way to the FBS that had a WaGriz hangover last week and the other took #6 to the wire last week.

Lemme guess. After we f*** up NaU they will have sucked and cal po will be our "next test"

Things a little quiet over on the eags board tonight so you thought you'd come over here and gloat....about what exactly?

I was thinking both Cal Poly and Portland State would give us a tough regular season game. Didn't expect NAU. Hell, what do I know, obviously never played the game.

Good the see the observer is back. What happened the other day? Couldn't figure out how to turn the computer on so mommy or daddy had to do it for you or was it that they say that the bad people were saying mean stuff to you and they didn't want you to reply?
