EWU is real good. Adams is a mobile QB who also throws accurately, they have strong RBs and a solid D who didn't get pushed around by Oregon State or Toledo. They will be tough to beat even at home.

Griz looked good tonight on MidCo Network vs. UND. Defense and offense are both clicking early.

I'd go with EWU, Cal Poly or MSU (stictly due to the fact that crazy things happen in the Brawl of the Wild) as having the best shot at beating UM.

NAU's defense was stout tonight. Offense, on the other hand, was completely and thoroughly inept. A handful of injuries at receiver and o-line aren't helping the fact that Poe has happy feet in the pocket and seems hesitant to go deep on throws.

I support the Lumberjacks in thick or thin but based on what I've seen from the first two NAU games this year...unless there are wholesale changes on offense (and maybe Poe gets a seat on the bench and Cartright is given another shot)...it won't be close vs. the Griz.

Jacks have next week vs. South Dakota to try to figure something out.

Looking forward to seeing the usual contingent of Griz fans in Flagstaff.

Msu? I don't think that's gonna be a problem. They looked like the msu from 2006. A whopping 26 points against a DII team. CMU wasn't that great of a team. Their QB completed his 2nd pass of the game in the 3rd quarter. Their D wasn't all there either. But the Fighting Cats could only muster up 26 points. The Griz are gonna shred 'em. I'll be surprised if UND doesn't beat them down.

If UND was the first huge test for the Griz' defense, NAU will be the first huge test for the Griz' offense. The Jacks' have a really good, and often overlooked defense. It's a good thing the Griz have another bye week (in practice) to prepare for the NAU defense :lol:
