Weber State @ Montana

I think the griz will win but it will be close. Weber is clearly getting better and the Griz simply are not playing well enough now to blow anyone out.

Brint will probably show TO margin in his report, but I'll say Griz win the TO battle (JJ back to a no INT) game) and take care of Weber 50 - 24.
I hope I'm right and as usual Grizo is wrong!

I can't believe someone hasn't posted "trap game"

Weird, I was just gonna bring it up. It happens weekly, hope it's not our turn...

Big let down spot for UM & that other team down the road.

I think it's going to be closer than it probably should be. Weebs has things headed in the right direction, and the Griz could get caught looking ahead.

41-28, GRIZ

I too am worried that this game will be close. The last four have been ridiculously close; however we were certainly closer to EWU (5 points) than MSU. But that doesn't give me confidence.

Anyone truly worried about this game is nuts. :twocents:

Probably true, yet anyone who counts a win before the game is played is a fool. :ugeek:

I agree. Regardless of the opponent, the process should be -- practice hard, prepare thoroughly, never assume anything and show your opponent some respect. That being said, once the opening kick off is in the air, I hope the Griz spend the next 3.5 hours showing Weber State the door.

Didn't mean to imply the coaches and team shouldn't take it seriously, just that if they do, it shouldn't be another nail-biter.

And to think that Weber State defeated S.F.Austin 50 - 40 to start the season; the same S.F.Austin team that defeated the MSU Bobcats 52 - 38. You have five turnovers in a game even a Central Washington might come close; even an Idaho State.

I guess it depends how you define worry. There is some truth to the statement that everyone is gunning for Montana so I think they will come here fired up. With that said, I have a funny feeling we have a really good clean game in all aspects and this one won't be so close.

Weber has no D. Griz O rolls and Weber O will not be able to keep up.

Agreed, Griz are the best in the BSC. Weber just isn't strong enough to stop the Griz offensive attack. I hope we get another shot at EWU in the playoffs so we can those chumps what MT football is all about!

Anyone thinking this game will be close is crazy. This is easily the worst Weber team I've ever seen and we always get destroyed in Wa-Griz.

Next weekends game against WSU, while maybe not our toughest game of the year, has without doubt become the most important game of the season. At 8-2, the Griz will be a lock for the playoffs with a win over Weber. I would assume this has the players jacked up!!! After all they have been through the last couple of years, they are now just one win away from returning to the playoffs! A victory would seal the deal for our Griz, which is why in my opinion it is the most important game of the entire season thus far, and without doubt the most important game of Delaneys' 2 seasons as head coach.

Go Griz!!!

msu needed Weber State to fumble the ball and give it to msu at the Weber State 1 yard line, first and goal, for msu to beat Weber State :!: I can't believe they did that!

Weber is competitive and WAY BETTER than there record. They won't be so generous in Msla.
