i understand why all above are good, ive watched weber program get built up by ron mcbride, then hill took it to the next level, similar happened at utah, he built it then urban meyer and kyle w took it to a new level. but sac? what is that story....how?

Just not convinced yet. As I noted, a chance to be very good. Haven't seen that yet, though. And I don't think they'd be favored in any games involving the other 3 very good teams, so that makes it difficult to include them in that group.

Personally, I think they could be very good, but won’t be. They’re going to try to ride a true soph who is so clearly inferior to the other guy just because the first guy is a “Montana Boy”. The Griz do it, too, on occasion and it’s annoying. I think the Bobs’ insistence on trying to make Tommie Touchdown happen will cost them a couple games.

Do some research on their head coach and the staff he’s built. He won’t be there much longer I would assume…he’s THAT good.

No start-up issues. At 17-1 in the BSC, his teams are no longer sneaking up on opponents. They are top of the hill until someone knocks them off. But they have work to do in the playoffs (0-2).

Just not convinced yet. As I noted, a chance to be very good. Haven't seen that yet, though. And I don't think they'd be favored in any games involving the other 3 very good teams, so that makes it difficult to include them in that group.

To be fair I haven't seen it from any of the teams I think are great yet. We all finally start playing each other which I've been looking forward to.

We don't play Sac this year but I think we'll be favored against Weber and Cat-Griz is a long ways away but I won't be surprised if we're favored by a few in that one as well. Though I imagine that will depend on how the next few weeks shakes out for both teams. But I'll be shocked if we're not favored against Weber next week.

I disagree with this. For one, I don't think either guy is obviously better than the other. Their numbers are near identical, both have played pretty well in stretches, and both have had some truly WTF moments.

But I mainly disagree because both will play a ton going forward. We won't "ride" either per se. Obviously I hope it works out. But I honestly don't feel like we lose anything when either is playing, and I'm guessing they'll both be huge pieces to our offense going forward.

I truly don't get it. The Wyoming kid runs as good or better than the Butte boy, and is 3x the passer. What, exactly, am I missing?

Well I disagree he's 3x the passer so that's the first thing. I think they're pretty much a wash there at this point in their careers. He played great against Davis for sure. Also been fortunate on some throws that were easy picks. But Tommy is in this boat as well.

They both run very well. Which is why going forward I think you'll see both of them getting reps which I'm not always a fan of but in this case I support it fully. If in that time one of them proves without a shadow of a doubt he's best, I think that guy will get the majority of the reps. Tommy did that all fall camp. Now Sean has worked his way into the conversation and I can't think of a bad thing to say about either of them

They looked plenty vulnerable on defense when they let Dixie Tech State score 33 points on them.

Im not denying they've looked good. Heck I'm not denying both Montana and Montana State have also looked really damn good. But none of those three have proved they are miles ahead of Weber right now which was my entire argument from the beginning.

Not even for one second? Lol. Hyperbole much PR? How about giving up two late TDs and relying on an on-sides recovery to actually close out the game? Any team that is outscored 14-0 in a quarter will have looked vulnerable in that quarter. How about this mighty gris offense if Brown is thrust into action?
