Janacaro from Big Sky is a very good athlete. Has 3 tds tonight vs Glacier. One was a 94 yard to run

Turner (Griz verbal) has 3 tds including a 60 yard td run

I've watched Big Sky play a couple of times on TV. Janacaro looks to me to be the real deal. Decent speed, outstanding vision and elusiveness. If the Griz don't offer him, I think we'll all regret it when he shows up as a Cat or an EWU or an Idaho spud.

Agree. He doesn’t have the speed that catches your eye, but goddamn the kid knows how to run the ball!! I’d say RB at the next level

He's playing both ways in HS. He looks a lot like a running back to me.

Griz recruit Garrett Graves tore it up in semi final today. 4 more touchdowns. Has 13 so far in playoffs.

Don't know that any team in the playoffs has been more impressive than Eureka. They've scored 107 pts, I believe, while opponents have scored just 12.

And Graves is the engine of the team on both sides of the ball. Got to see him play in person last year and he was a man among boys.

Why the fuck are most of the state chipper games at the same date/time as the cat/Griz game? It’s a goddamn crime. I have to break my streak this year to go to the game in P-burg. It’s a no-brainer for me and my streak had to end someday, altho I promised to never miss a cat/Griz. Just sucks. Whatever happened to Friday night football?

Won't ever happen that way because you'd be giving the 3 small school games a very short week to prepare and recover for the biggest game in most of those kids lives. Also, while it would be cool, I am not convinced that playing in that big of a stadium would feel as special if it's empty. Add in the logistics of field size and there are multiple problems. I think the principal is great, but will be hard to get done well. I almost feel somewhere like Naranche in Butte, with AA/A Friday and small schools Saturday, with a 7PM Cat Griz game is the ultimate solution. Butte is central to both campus locations, so kids and fans would be able to attend the night game no matter where it is. Plus Naranche is a very cool environment and Butte supports everything kid related so attendance would be strong.

Typically that info is not widely known. Just speculation or intelligent guesses on most of them.

Sometimes the players tweet tells all. And for the most part Montana Players are Partials, because it is easier to get other scholarships to fill the gap.

I would guess that Sulser is the only full ride Montana kid... But only glean this from prior years recruiting.

Also 8-man and 6-man play on a shorter field. You’d have to have a place where the goal post moved. Valley Christian maybe in Missoula but other than that I don’t think any of the field mentioned would be able to do that especially the fields with the new turf in. Plus it means something to these small communities to be able to host a championship game.
