Agree that he may be able to contribute as a special teams player and carry the ball a few times a game, but just don't see him as a 15 - 20 carry a game guy in the Big Sky. Because of his speed, I believe he is a partial aid Montana kid. Definitely not one the top 2 or 3 recruits in the state.
One thing you need to realize with Glacier this year is that the offensive line and quarterback positions are not what they have been in past years. A relatively inexperienced group, they will need time to develop. Know Bennett is experimenting with different players and formations to offset this glaring weakness. In the meantime, I have watched two of their games and from what I heard from those in attendance in Bozeman this past week, you are seeing the other teams in pack it in with eight man fronts, and throwing a lot of CB blitzes because Glacier is so one dimensional. Turner had a much better season last year when to they couldn't key on him. This year, a whole different story.
Hopefully, for Turner's sake and rest of this talented group of seniors, they get turned around sooner than later. I watched Lex Hilliard throughout his high school and college career. Turner is every bit as talented as Lex was at this point of his career. You can't coach speed, and you can't coach size. Turner can easily carry another 25-30 pounds and be the battering ram so many on this site have been begging for. I wouldn't pass on him just yet.
