Coaches leave all the time for other schools. Kind of hypocritical .

And if Oregon had been offering Baldwin the head coaching job you can bet your bottom dollar he would have been gone in a heartbeat.

All kinds of people say dumb stuff all the time, but coaches should know better than to air their frustrations to a reporter for cripes sake.

Those were great!! Thanks for the laugh.

So many of you are missing the point here. Coach Baldwin's anger and child-like behavior is fully justified. The highly complex and innovative ewu passing game is predicated upon three sophisticated passing plays. I suppose it is okay to illustrate the strategy and tactics of this scheme now that VAJ has decided to transfer and the eagle is out of the bag.

The lynchpins of this complex offense juggernaut are; jump ball right, jump ball center and jump ball left. With shoota's defection to Oregon, these secret plays will be shared with the Oregon coaches. This factor alone will save the Oregon staff 15-20 minutes in the video room. I fully understand Coach baldwin's child-like temper tantrum. Shoota's treachery is unforgivable. He is the Aldrich Ames of college football.

Blah, blah, blah. Not every “elite” program can hire a coach like Stitt. I’ve been told that Stitt invented modern football? Is that true?

Most scholars contend that most of the tales regarding Stitt's inventing modern football are exaggerated. One thing isn't debatable, however: Stitt definitely doesn't act like a whiny child as much as Baldwin and the AD over at EWU. I actually couldn't believe my eyes when those remarks came out. Hard to believe people who act that way can hold powerful positions!

I have no issues with coach Baldwin’s remarks. He actually said what was on his mind. Baldwin would be UM’s coach if he wanted it.

Good luck with that evolutionary offense the griz have inherited. At least you will lead the nation in the quickest offensive three-and-outs the next few years.

The idea of Baldwin as the Griz coach makes me want to throw up a little. I'm so glad we passed on him. As for him saying what was on his mind, that's kind of the point, right? It's what children do when shit doesn't go their way. I don't remember Baldwin complaining when EWU got Bo Levi Pants or whatever the fuck that weirdo's name was. Wasn't Tapei Johnson a drop down too, or just Prop 48?

Of if he hadn't totally and completely bombed the interview.

But your version certainly makes for a better story.

That's what I heard as well. Like, really bad. I'm actually told he wasn't too happy when he didn't get the nod, but it had to look like his choice so he could still have some degree of credibility with EWU.

Uhh, here's the extent of my knowledge of ewoo:

-- It's in the Meth Capital.

-- They offer Basic Diesel Mechanics

-- They take "student"-athletes no one else will touch.

Beyond that, no one gives a shit about ewoo.

We know about Baldwin because he interviewed with MONTANA. And failed miserably.

What does a interviewee for the Montana job have to do with EWU? I'll say it again, the way that Baldy handled the Shoota departure makes me so glad UM decided not to hire him.

I am also glad that Baldwin is at EWU. Like I said earlier, good luck with your new coach. I really admire all of the griz optimism. Your new coach is a genius and that is why he is at UM. I guess he knows how to make shirts with nifty sayings. That correlates with good coaching. Hey, "Stitt happens" and I predict there will be a load of Stitt dumped on your "elite" program in coming years.

Hey, I forgot to ask, does Baldwin remind you of a carbed-out Tricky Dave, captain of the F/V Tuna.com?

You forget there is one more down to utilize and Stitt has had great success using it for more than giving the ball back to the other team.

Baldwin didn't bag the interview. After the Missoulian prematurly leaked the news Baldwin had no choice but to deny his acceptance. Remember this was the weekend before the big game. If it wasn't for the Missoulian Beau Baldwin would now be the coach of the Montana Grizzlies.

Baldwin isnt qualified to lead this program, the last week cements it. There is no argument you can make, he is a little fish in a little pond. I laugh at the UM and OSU talk, why would anyone want that clown?

Oh..............thats right they dont.
