However, what has DeCuire really done that might attract the attention of a power-five conference team? Back-to-back 20-win seasons sounds pretty good ... except it's in the pathetic Big Sky conference. And all he's done is lose in the post-season. "Not a promotional bell-ringer," as I recall from some movie.
If he gets the Griz into the NCAA post-season and wins a game there, or takes them to an NIT title ... then I might worry. Otherwise, forgettaboutit.

Yes.EverettGriz said:It IS a great security blanket to have Mr. Bone who could move one seat over on the bench should the need arise. I'm just amazed we've hung onto him as an assistant.Grizz Man said:I love Travis. I also love Ken Bone. Not too many issues that I don't lose sleep over, but this is one of them.

And then take a look at what he did at Green River CC. I'm not going to pretend I know what his plan is, but I don't get the feeling he's as antsy as some of you.

Thanks Kyle. That's certainly great to hear. But as Montana fans, we have to stay realistic. We know that we can't pay our coaches anywhere near what the P12 does, and even considerably less than, say, the WCC. I, too, think that Travis has no great interest in leaving UM. But $750k or more is a pretty persuasive reason to do so.
