Ty and Griz D

Shutouts win championships. Ty needs to quit blaming his defense issues on a poor offense. Every time the d takes the field they have the opportunity to make a team go 3 and out just like the Bison d is doing to our offense.
Move on Ty. You are divisive and disrespectful to every head coach you worked for. Get out of town

"Ty and Griz D" are getting owned.

Actually, that's not true. Griz D is playing well. ND has only 14 points off the D, 10 first downs, 21o yards of total offense, and is 0-6 on 3d down conversions. Given the how poorly the Griz O is performing, the D is doing well.

UM O has 0 points, 4 first downs, 63 yards, 3 picks, and is 1-9 on 3d down conversions.

The ND D is clobbering us, in all respects, so far.

You don't have a clue, and everybody who understands football and most who don't, know that TG and the defense have been good this year, and even in this game. Of course, we all know you never played the game, and don't understand it.

'Playa's been raped' by Ty.
I won't defend my playing experience, but so you never use that argument again... Most of the best coaches in all of football have had minimal playing experience. Maybe they are smarter due to fewer concussions. I don't know? What I do know is your football IQ is really low. Try some AM Radio. Maybe you have a future there?

You won't defend your playing experience, because you don't have any. Jeez, what a joke you are.

I'm a Griz hoops fanatic... have long followed Griz FB but don't consider myself all that football astute.

That said, I believe some recognition is in order to Montana's defense against NDSU today for playing tough with intensity and class. It would have been hard to win today under any circumstances (though I believed Montana had the potential). As it turned out, this D held up remarkably well, especially considering how long they were on the field. They did not quit until after the final second. Sometimes a team reveals its true character by means other than winning. That's what this hoops fan saw with one-half of this Montana team today. Kudos Griz D.

journal, very well said. The Griz D played very well today. They have nothing to hang their heads about. And also, credit where credit is due, North Dakota State played a great game, is a great team, and probably is going to win the national title this year, and I wouldn't bet against them any time in the future either. All the credit in the world to NDSU and to Chris Klieman.

The reality is the Bison D deserves the kudos....total domination....

Congrats to Ty and the D today. D gave up 16 points, Offense gave up 14 and the special teams gave up 7..not bad for the D since they were on the field most of the time.....again.

Stitt had better figure out how to run an O if he does not have a QB that can master this scheme. NDSU and Poly were able to rush 3 and 4 and stop Montana from running the ball, that can't happen. Here is to the 2nd act with Stitt and hopefully with maturity we have an O that can help the defense.

It is amazing to me how some people claim they are such die-hard fans with so much insight into the team, but then post something so off base like this. Honestly, not being a jerk here, but to honestly believe Bob Stitt doesn't praise Gregorak and the defense can only mean one of two things. 1. The OP has some weird agenda, and made up a complete lie to try and get some traction here on Egriz, or 2. He doesn't read a single bit of Griz football news, or watch or listen to a single Stitt interview. The guy has said: "We have a great defense" at least 100 times, if not more in the last 12 weeks. He has praised the defense, the D-coordinator and all of the defensive players in every single interview he's done this season.

Absolutely the truth. You would had to have been living under a rock this season to not have heard Coach Stitt praise Ty and the defense publicly on a weekly basis. Some of the shit posted on this site just blows my mind!!!

The Cats would love to have Ty for sure. Love his energy. Congrats on a good season. Looking forward to next year already. Happy Holidays To you all!

Bison's 316 yards of total offense was their lowest of the season, and 1-14 on 3d down conversions for the Bison.
