No, you never seen him do that. He always played end. Right end.

My bad, thanks for the clarification. So did we have a #3 nose last year then?

I would anticipate that Roberts, Flowers, White, Simpson, Bergen, and Fontes are the main corps that this staff expects to be prime contributors. Next in line beyond them would probably be Williams, Ver Strate, Lang, and Deck. Additional guys beyond that just need more time.

Lincoln behind Forbes.
Grimsrud!
Only one “or” (Cotton/Fouch).
Very young team. 20 of the 44 O and D players are R-Fr., So., or R-So.
Only 8 Sr.’s or R-Sr.’s cracked the 44.
Only one position has both R-Sr.’s (Welnel/Matthews).
That sophomore class is stacked and some of these young bucks (like Lee, Gradney, Nuce, Fontes, White, and Bergen) have a ton of experience already.

Really interested to see how Cole Grossman comes out. He was incredible last year, and could really dominate this year. Bobby loves his tight ends.

Yeah I believe it was Nuce

Yeah I was just going off the WR group. Grossman could have a huge year. Obviously anything can happen during a season but assuming he stays healthy I honestly could see him being top 2 or 3 in receiving yards and maybe even best in receiving TDs.
My bad. Could have worded that better. I was just surprised to see Lincoln crack what I believe to be his first 2deep, and I guess I did not realize he would be at center. Seems like a super nice kid.mthoopsfan said:garizzalies said:Walker over Dawson is interesting.

Why Lincoln behind Forbes? Didn't Forbes start all of last year?

Nuce came in mostly at D-end last season. Kaschmitter was really the #3 nose. I think he was #94 last year but has new number this year. Looked really solid as an underweight freshman last year.

Also, very cool to see some depth on the 2deep at OL. Seems like the last few years we would have some names show up multiple times for multiple spots, and if one guy went down, we started playing the shuffle game

Yep that's right! Had those two crossed up on their D-line positions. :thumb:
