This post doesn't merit serious discussion. They are former football players....so what do they have to do with the current team and coaches? Nothing!

I totally disagree with you. They are bad kids, and were just as bad when they played for us. So, it is O.K if we recruit thugs as long as we can babysit them long enough to finish their eligibility, then wash our hands of them? If you do not think this latest incident continues to hurt us with the moms and dads of potential recruits, you are crazy. I'm sure the Bobcat coaches are hi-fiving all night long over this!

Unfortunately, because they were past UM football players the sh-t is hitting the fan. Cat fans have been thru this horror story. We understand it and do not wish this on anyone including the griz prgram.

Sorry, I only look at the football threads. But, I did go in there and look at this thread and all are sympathetic to UM. These guys were not students any longer. This thread on BN supports UM as the bobcats went thry the same thing with ex-players!

Two things:

1. If the store clerk had a CWP he could have defended himself since he chose not to he got what he deserved.

1) IF he had a CWP and pulled his gun, he likely wouldn't be in the hospital, but no one deserves this.
You and I refuse to ever be a victim like this guy so we carry, but no one deserves this.
2) Obama needs to appoint Biden to search for a surgeon who can reverse a dual-rectal-cranial inversion for the both of them since they both have their heads up Obama's ass.

3) Anybody that believes Cat fans are happy and high fiving over this $hit isn't really a fan of football. This crap needs to stop. PERIOD. I wish there was an easy fix to make the bad things stop happening, but there isn't so this ride, unfortunately, may not be over yet. Just know that your friends from MSU are just as disappointed in your former players as you are. Rivalry is one thing, but this is something entirely different. Hang in there Griz fans.

What I find is bullshit is that only 2 out of the 5 were FORMER Griz players, YET...ALL of the coverage of this horrific crime focuses pretty much solely on the Griz program and the two having been a part of it.

Yes, 2 out of 5 being FORMER Griz is too many but since when did the program start becoming responsible for the actions of FORMER players who are no longer associated with the program?

And what about the other 3? Who are they and what do they do (besides sit in jail now)?
