Tickets for EWU vs. (Montana)

EWU fans have got to stop coming on here and trying to reason with egriz. 90% of the people on here can't handle factual statements and are only concerned with trolling. To them, we'll always be a directional school in the middle of a wheat field with gimmick turf and a small fan base. IMO, that makes beating the Mighty Griz that much sweeter and ending their season will probably only fuel their non sense further.

Good luck to the true Griz Nation this weekend and Go Eags!!

Yep. Not too many Griz fans will understand the "reasoning" behind saying every game in Cheney has been a sellout for the last two years when some of those games have seen crowds at less than 50% capacity. They don't teach that kind of "reasoning" at UM.

As for the bold, how is any of that incorrect? Is it not wheat?

I said regular season, with a caveat about the post-season. Go re-read my post. Never mentioned anything about selling out playoff games. Reading's hard.

Have anything to say about the game itself, or are you content to just keep getting your ass handed to you in this thread?

Bottom line is a premium game played at a lousy venue. That's ok tho. With only 500 fans aboard The Griz will show up and go toe to toe with ewu and the announcers will take a lot of jabs at the "surroundings." Time to knock these guys off their perch. :thumb:

It really is sad to see them try to fund the Gotwood Project when Joe Albi holds 28,000.

Haha! Me get my ass handed to me by an Eag? That's pretty funny. For reference, I give you your first post in this thread. You will note that it contains not one, but two false statements, and is also 100% caveat free.

Glad you acknowledge that the caveat was made. You see, when someone makes a statement, it's generally implied and accepted that one need not repeat said statement over and over unless the person one is trying to communicate a point to is a little slow.

Now...please feel free to point out what I've posted in this thread that isn't factual. You see, I don't feel the need to make up my own facts or embelish the truth as some of you are so prone to doing. And although it would be easy to resort to weak, low-brow smack as many of you do, I don't feel the need...although there's a venerable cornucopia of material to work with there if anyone desired to do so.

So yeah...when one person states facts, and the other is unable to refute those facts, I'd say that's the definition of getting your ass handed to you. You've tried this in the past as well and it didn't work out so well for you.

And I'll take it that's a resounding "NO" with respect to my question about having anything to say about the game itself.

Thanks, hope this helps.

Summary of EWURanger's posts in this thread:

1. Two lies
2. Smack
3. Reading comp fail/attempt to diminish Griz win
4. Attempt to say EWU doesn't consider a BSC title and playoff appearance a great season when he lists both in his signature (this was my favorite)
5. Hedge #1 (playoff games are't well attended in Cheney).
6. "When have there ever been unsold tickets for a game in Cheney?" (This was his very next post, mind you)
7. Calling someone out for a false statement. (hilarious)
8. Smack.
9. Missing the point.
10. Hedge #2/missing the point/ red herring re: UM's attendance.
11. Admission that Post #1 was a partial lie.
12. Hedge #3/Says someone other than him is getting his ass handed to him.

Dude. You stated two facts. A) You had as many folks at the ISU game as the Montana game this season and B) have sold out every game the past couple of seasons.

BOTH of those "facts" have been proven to be, well, less than factual. Dare I say they've been "refuted"? Then you come on blindly stating they HAVEN'T been refuted. THAT is the definition of getting your ass handed to you.

That's up to the the Griz tickets office I guess, maybe GSA has first priority?? You should call TICKETS WEST at 1-800-325-7328 for availability.

Thanks. Is Griz Tix part of Tickets West or is Tickets West a Spokane company? I'll call but my fear is the Griz Insiders will get the lions share of the tickets and most of us average fans will be out in the cold.
So, are you saying that the UofM should not cater to those most supportive of the program? What if you were one of them, how would you feel about getting a shot at those 500?

Frankly, I would like to get 5 of the 500 too, but if I don't, I will be disappointed, but I will also understand. I will give it my best shot on Tuesday morning. Hopefully, there will be enough GA tickets for all of us that want to go.

I was reading on a package of beef jerkey the other day and it said Packet enclosed to keep product fresh. Do not eat packet. Ewuranger29 is the guy who would eat the packet.

People that feel the need to point out semantics and minutia generally do so because they have no other argument to make. Thanks for illustrating that so clearly.

For someone who supposedly doesn't care about Eastern Washington football, you certainly do seem to spend a lot of time trying to discredit it.

And I'll take the above grasping as another sign that you don't, in fact, have anything to say about the game?

Saying that you sold out every game when you plainly didn't is minutia? OK. The Griz sold out every game in the past two years and won all of them. We could get North Korea propaganda style on this! Don't refute it with verified facts to the contrary, those are just minutia.

As for the game (here in the ticket thread), as I said on PAGE TWO, I hope EWU gives enough tickets to the visiting team. Not exactly a stellar rep for doing so in the past. If you want to discuss the relative merits of the teams or predict scores, please do so in the appropriate thread(s). Thanks!

Again, this has already been addressed previously in this thread. But it's possible that you missed it, so here it is again:

This might be considered semantics.

It was over 11k for those games, which isn't really impressive in the grand scheme of things...but the point is, you can't sell more tickets than you have seats. We've been well over official capacity for some time now during the regular season. Playoffs are a different story. Those games aren't as well attended when classes aren't in session.

This might be considered minutia:

Yep. You were objectively wrong on both points you made in your first post. The attendance is meh. The funny one is the "every game" one.

Person A: UM won every game this year.
Person B: Uh, no they didn't.
Person A: I meant every game in September.
Person B: Still wrong, what about the NSDU loss? (Note: the 2013 WOU game parallel?)
Person A: Semantics! I later tried to clarify, so I didn't actually make the first statement!
