One thing to remember is that the forecast for saturday is blue sky's in Missoula. NAU plays indoors, they are not used to looking up into a blue sky (a 'big sky' really). They are used to the background from the roof of the Skydome, could make it hard for their receivers and returners to find the ball. Big advantage Griz.

I agree. Anyone who says it snows more anywhere outside of Montana than in Montana is off his rocker. I once had a professor try to convince the whole class that it was colder on Mars than in Butte. He now lives in a shack in Guam, not by choice. You only make that mistake one time.

you aren't imagining it, someone here posted that there was going to be a big announcement from the 1995 nc team. I'm curious to hear whats up. I'm actually surprised that its been quiet given all the posters that know all see all and tell all.signedbewildered said:

One little known fact about the shootout at the OK Corral, there was at least 2 feet of fresh snow in Tombstone that day. Wyatt survived without a scratch because he was able to dive behind the berm that the snowplow made. The inaccuracies in the movie Tombstone are crazy. You're exactly right, Hammer. There was heavy snow fall that day even by Arizona standards. Another historical inaccuracy is the bullet fired by Frank McLaury that grazed Doc Holliday's hip after striking his holster. Many think this was a gun holster but it was actually the famed dentist's iPhone 3 holster. It is well documented that Doc Holiday was an Apple products guy.Hammer said:

I am seriously concerned that the weather might be "perfect", or "ideal" this weekend. This could have serious consequences for how the Griz play. This being a homecoming weekend, the crowd is never up to it's usual 'loudness", and there is a higher than normal percentage of people who will refuse to stand during the game, especially when the Griz are on offense.Raider said:
Of course "homecomers" are also likely to spend more time out in the tailgates meeting and greeting. Combine that with the "perfect" weather, the frustration of "good" fans from "homecomers" not cheering loud enough, and there might not be anybody in the stadium for the 2nd 1/2 of the game. If we have already lost "cold" due the to the perfect weather, and now we lose "loud" due the the perfect weather, Griz will have a big challenge to be competitive in this game. Might be too much hill for a climber.
