Hey wasn't there some buzz a couple of months ago about some big announcement being made at homecoming by former players and staff? Thought I saw it in an article or here or someone twitted it or something. Was I imagining it?

you aren't imagining it, someone here posted that there was going to be a big announcement from the 1995 nc team. I'm curious to hear whats up. I'm actually surprised that its been quiet given all the posters that know all see all and tell all.

There was an article about it. They are donating $300,000 to the new Champions Center.

I just had a thought about the game. Despite playing with a number of injuries and a backup OB, I am thinking the weather may be an advantage this game.

The most recent forecast calls for a chilly and brisk 79 degrees on Saturday. Burrr.....

Do you think that will give us an advantage over the boys from AZ?

You're exactly right, Hammer. There was heavy snow fall that day even by Arizona standards. Another historical inaccuracy is the bullet fired by Frank McLaury that grazed Doc Holliday's hip after striking his holster. Many think this was a gun holster but it was actually the famed dentist's iPhone 3 holster. It is well documented that Doc Holiday was an Apple products guy.

I always thought Holiday was a Blackberry guy, and they didn't want to pay for the rights to the name in the movie, so they changed it to Huckleberry?

One little known fact about the shootout at the OK Corral, there was at least 2 feet of fresh snow in Tombstone that day. Wyatt survived without a scratch because he was able to dive behind the berm that the snowplow made. The inaccuracies in the movie Tombstone are crazy. Im sure CDA and Ursa can expand on this, the historians that they are!

That dam snowbank is why we neither of us have made it across the practice field to each others tailgate...At least now we have another reason....

A very little known tidbit passed along here by Hammer. Great work. The frigid temperatures at the corral that day rendered Ol' Kate's left nipple a poor man's diamond cutter the protrusion of which rivaled that of her legendary beak. Some scholars contend that McLaury's bullet actually shattered on impact. Either way, the damage was done. She posted pictures of it on Instagram, and the people in charge promptly deleted her account. She would later attempt to gain employ at the Cochise Hotel, but was quickly outed as Big Nose One Nip Kate. Big G has theorized that her Twitter account was active until her death in 1940, the same year his son played in the 1993 Rose Bowl. The connection between Doc Holliday and Doc Brown has never been fully explained.

By the by, my description of your godmother's teat situation is completely accurate. What is ol' Gams up to these days? I haven't seen an Instagram post since her time at Seeley Lake last spring.
