Thoughts about NAU

My wife won't ever let me go to Flagstaff. In Stephen King's novel "The Stand", Flagstaff was the center of all evil.

What a waste of a decent thread. Probably irrelevant that NAU has handed us our butt the last two times we have played them.

I'm not penciling anybody in as a W at the moment.

Do you guys even like football? or the Griz? Geezus, this board... bunch of soft, not funny, weather talkers.

time to head over to maroonblood. 90% of you, please stay here and talk about dumb, irrelevant shit.

New O @ Fisty U, and it sounds as if we too may be seeing a backup. Jerome will have them ready, circled this on their calendar. It would be premature to pencil in anything right now.

34-28 over SFA, in Texas. 547-452 total yards. Then played a cupcake, then became Arizonas cupcake. FCS STAT ranked NAU at #30, CP SLO(remember them?)#20. They actually have a kicker who is accurate. McNeese St., #25, 28-14 over SFA('fell apart for 3qtrs.) in Texas.WGS should be worth six points, seven if WE had the accurate kicker. Defense could score. Which offense shows up, the first week O or the other.

When are you getting your game face on? I'm getting mine on on Friday afternoon at the earliest. I don't want to peak too soon.

advantage, as opposed the Flagstaffs predicted high of 77 this saturday ? I am always amazed at how many people think Flagstaff's weather is the same as southern AZ.....
I know Raider is trolling. But yeah, I'm always suprised how people view Flagstaff. Flagstaff gets way more snow in the winter than Bozeman and Missoula. And summer temperatures are similar to Western Montana

I'll buy that on Missoula, but Im not sure Flagstaff gets "way more" snow than Bozeman.

I agree Hammer. Weather will have no effect on this game. Bozeman gets just as much snow or more than Flagstaff.

These next four games are almost must-win now since there's a relatively good chance of dropping 2 out of the last 4 (@PSU, @ISU, EWU, @MSU) if the Griz don't improve. A 7-4 Griz team with a win over NDSU and high SOS would probably still get in the playoffs but I would hate to see them push that.

I only saw a little of their SFA game so don't know a whole lot about this year's NAU team but they looked pretty good for being in their first game. Bauman and NAU's run game was the difference IMO last time in WaGriz. Hopefully, the O can produce early so NAU has to play from behind and that limits some of their running potential.

Basing the potential of the last four games on how they're playing NOW is a fools errand. I believe this team is going to find its stride midseason and we'll have long since forgotten the CP & Liberty debacles when they roll through the 2nd half of the season...

I agree. Dumb thread!

On a related note, I see they are now forecasting a high of 80 on Saturday, so I am guessing they removed the frostbite warning. Whewww!
