unfortunately none of this is likely to happen. m.s.u. is locked and loaded for years to come. sure they could have an off year somewhere along the line. you look at their depth and its second to none. their qb depth is the best i've ever seen in the f.c.s. five qbs that could start for any big sky team. they have six stud rbs. their o line is young, big and good. the only weak spot down the road is wr.

on d everyone says their lbs are weak, but they will return three starters in 2014 and it will be the best trio in the big sky. the d line is flat loaded as is the secondary. special teams will take a hit when perez graduates, but they have great coaching and an excellent strength coach. they just dumped $250,000 into their weight room and they're raising another $2 million for it.

for it to be a huge letdown you have to buy into everything i just said.

every year as we get closer and closer to the big game it seems both fanbases love to talk about how "classy" their fans are and how "classless" the other fans are. it goes on and on with idiots from both sides spouting jibberish. someone had a genius idea of turning the board into a drinking game and every time a fan used the words classy or classless they had to drink.

so on long august days such as today when work isn't cutting it and I get bored I was having a little fun. truthfully I thought alphas post was brilliant and I can assure you he got the exact results he wanted.

Hmm. Ok. Well, to be honest, I seriously don't like the program in Blozemen. And I don't like Chevorlets either. Or mustard. So that being said doesn't make me classless to type out what I think. I don't sugar coat anything. I don't do it to be an asshole, I do it because I'm not the type to blow smoke in anyone's face. I have even said to scat fans at bars, (probably not the best environment to do that) but I'm not the type to hold anything back. Some are good people outside of football. I have a few renters that are scat fans but they worked, held a job, and pay their rent on time. Decent people. Like I said, I don't do it to be an asshole but the last thing I'll do to anyone is lie to them. I'm just not that type.

I don't like the griz either. but I can separate the two. it's football. we all live in Montana. growing up in Bozeman of course all my friends were mainly cats. but as I've gotten older and especially after college where I met many people from Missoula I have many friends that are griz. it's awesome giving each other shit.

take hammer for instance. you'd be hard pressed to find a guy that hates the cats and Bozeman more than he does. I don't take offense to that. he gets it. but also...he's not an ass to people just to be an ass. he can have conversations about other things without pissing and moaning about the cats. but when the topic turns to football...there is no doubt what side of the fence he's on.

frankly, I don't care one way or the other. it's a message board and a good one at that. I come here for entertainment as well as just to talk sports with other sports fans. it can also be a good source of information at times which I know seems far-fetched based on most of the threads here.

I think Hammer and I would probably get along pretty good then. I have family all over the state. From Glendive to Bigfork from Virginia City to Havre and soon to be in laws are everywhere also most of us are Griz fans. That's just how it goes. I can sit and talk to people and anything you throw at me but when football comes up I puke a bit in my mouth when someone says the cats. I wasn't so hard on them til recently. A lot of them seem to feel that that tables have turned. I don't see it that way. (I'm gonna quit right there before I get fired up lol)
But yes, it is an excellent message board! For a long time I would just read thru the topics and see what the "Buzz" was. But it wasn't til the SUU game where I got the unfortunate pleasure to witness the BS that was going on first hand that sent me over the edge and I started an account to rant about wtf was going on to the team.

I'd take the FCS over the NFL any day of the year!! The NFL is joke!! My team won the Super Bowl last year and I still feel that way. The nfl sucks. Over paid, whiny players, money hungry, and I'm almost starting to think most of it is scripted or tries to be.
I love the game. I played from the time I was able to run til my senior year in high school. The nfl has all but ruined the sport and now the NCAA is trying to do the same thing. The love of the game is almost gone. Seems most play for money. The FBS is turning to shit too. Manzel or whatever his name is should be booted off the team and given a whopper flopper hat and set out to pasture. Talented individual but the younger generation shouldn't be seeing this fool get toted around the school like hes a king of sorts.
So yes, I get worked up over college football. Its almost all that left when it comes down to a Real football game. No money, nothing special, just the love of the game and Pride.
