The BB description of the treatment of WM fans in Bozoville is unreal. Totally classless.

Not surprising at all though. I was at Griz/cat last year and the student section threw snowballs and chunks of ice at my father in law and I as we walked by their section. Expletives were yelled at us on numerous occasions. Then once we got to our seats, I noticed that the student section had then begun to hurl snowballs and chunks of ice at the Griz players who were warming up in the end zone. There was zero effort made by any staff to curb the behaviors. It was a real bad look.

For crying out loud.... these stories get more and more wild every year....

Next year there will be stories of Mad Max like vehicles perched outside Belgrade preventing any outsiders from entering thunder dome...

You must not have been at the game last year….it was visible for all to see. The student section DID throw snow and ice at players and opposing fans. The students did yell expletives at opposing fans…It also doesn’t help that they put the visitor section right next to the student section . Those things occurred, I was there, whether you believe it or not is irrelevant

Granny, baby, you started 11-18-04. Your goal of 20 years is still a year short. Great avatar! Your observations about scat fans are spot on. FTC. Go Griz!
She posted her first one in 2003 on a different account.

I really don’t know what you guys are talking about. If the first one was in ‘04, then this year’s would be the 20th year posting. Use your fingers if you have to lol 🤓

She said she wanted to make it 20 years.

2004 was 19 years ago.

She was "doing it for 1 year" in 2004 because she started in 2003.

In any case, it's just semantics. If this is the last one, I hope we win it for her!

I took it to mean 20 years consecutive that she’d posted and done her thing, which I believe was the intent as stated. Whatever, just glad she made it this year ... 👍🏻

I just realized I'm also only a couple weeks away from 20 years on eGriz.

Jesus Christ

Same here...good God, we're old.

I also reached 20 years recently. Like my signature line says, I honestly never expected egriz to last this long but I'm glad it did. Yes we're old.

We're all like fine wines, getting better with age!

a fantastic story -from page 403 of THE DIVIDE WAR

Yohanse Manzanarez (Great Falls) on the Bozeman scene:

The walk in Bozeman from their Fieldhouse up to the stadium is like a clown's show, said Manzanarez. Those people really get on you. I remember one year getting to the stadium and warming up on the field. All of a sudden these three guys were yelling and screaming at me. They were calling me every name in the book. There is no way you can print in this book anything they were saying. Finally one of our assistant coaches asked me about them. I told him I knew them all. They were all my best friends in high school. Now they were all MSU students and wanted to make sure I knew it.

As Larry the Cable Guy would say, "Now that's funny, right there. I don't care who you are. That there is funny!"

Hello Griz Fans,

My goal when I started posting was to make it 20 years. I did that today. It’s good to set goals, especially at my age.

Griz Granny

I was one who replied to her very first post, so it got me to thinking, just how long have I been on eGriz? I checked. eGriz was created on March 27, 2002 by Chris. I joined a little over 7 months later on November 14, 2002, meaning I have now been on eGriz 21 years. I was number 152 to join, and almost 18,000 posters have signed up for eGriz though I don't know how many are currently active (some have faded away and some have been banned). I've probably spent more time on here than I should have, but not nearly as much as some, at least based on the number of posts. The two posters closest to me in time of joining that I still see on here regularly are Proud Griz Man who signed up the day before I did and Bear Axed, who joined just a few hours after I did.

How about you? How long have you been on eGriz? You can find out by clicking on your screen name. If you want more information, such as those who joined about the same time, after you click on your screen name, go up one level and scroll through the list of members.

It may seem unimportant, but now that the backup QB is the son of the QB I was cheering on in the 90's, it gets me thinking about how fast time has passed.

I started my profile on august 29th of 2010. Prior to that I had been a frequent reader of Egriz starting in 2006.
