The Seattle-ization of Boz Angeles

I have a follow up honest question: Is Choach worried at all about being cancelled? In the last month, we’ve seen people get cancelled for far less than running an annual school sponsored/supported MILF camp that ostensibly sought to “loosen up” the women with alcohol and encouraged them to date the coaches. For that matter, is the athletic department at all concerned about this?

I know we’ve made jokes about it in the past, but with the craziness lately, I’d probably want to get out in front of this if I were him. Seriously. It was an absolutely awful look.

They have had the Xs and Os camp for women WAY before Choate took over. I believe it started with Ash. And to be completely honest, it is the same camp that Bobby runs over at UM. Cant remember what it is called, but had some lady friends that went to it in Missoula... Basically they drank mimosas, ran some drills, and then had drinks while Bobby talked about Xs and Os.

You're just jealous. The next one you'll whine about is the world renowned palentologist (never mind he "doesnt even have a college degree" as some in a certain department in a school we all love whined about) marrying a 19-year-old intern when he was 66...something about guys named Jack I guess?

It wasn’t the concept itself, it was the way Choach and the university sold it to women in the community. All class Ron Ash would’ve never approved such phrasing. “Loosen up, have a drink, date a coach, here’s a hotel”. Fair or unfair, people have been getting cancelled without context for far less.

That promotional webpage for that was simultaneously hilarious and disturbing.

Mostly fucking hilarious though.

I totally agree on the website, that wasn't exactly the phrasing, but it didn't look great.... I think where they went wrong was trying to sell the DVD's of MILF camp... I mean, who even has a DVD player anymore

It would be a real shame if some woke person on Twitter complained about it so the university and Choach both have to publicly apologize or face complete cancellation, a real shame indeed.

I was raised in the Gallatin Valley and got my B.S. at MSU. I always hated Bozeman and wished the college were somewhere else but Bozeangeles is getting worse much to my surprise. That fine Butte man who runs Bob's Burgers or whatever in the hell he calls it is about the only place I go to eat in that town. Belgrade, Manhattan, Three Forks and even Willow Creek have better eating establishments. Fishing? I don't think of Bozeangeles when I think of fishing. Gallatin Gateway downstream. Shit, even the airport is in Belgrade. I can't think of a single redeeming quality for Bozeangeles, Cottonwood Canyon, and most of Springhill. Bridger Bowl is good but I'm too damn old to ski that like I got to as a kid. And no, I don't think of Bozeangeles when I think of Bridger anymore than I associate the Gallatin, Madison, Jefferson or the Yellowstone. Bozo is on an island full of pompous, egotistical transplants that MSU is surrounded by and what is happening to Sanfranzoola, Kalgareyspell and the Bitterroot. Lewis and Clark County is getting infiltrated by transplants. Get used to watching your favorite fishing streams, ski slopes, hunting areas and universities get absorbed by transplants who know more about your area because they've been there all year...plus, they'll take over your out of the way bars and restraurants like Ringling, Sir Scotts, the Gravel Bar and whatever that nice place in Logan used to be called. Fuck Bozeangeles, Sanfranzoola, Kalgaryspell and what used to be Montana. There's still lots of places to go and you don't have to put up with all the fucking transplants.

4) Bozeman is more "Jackson Hole North" or Beverly Hills East... Missoula would be more like Seattle

Seems to be the correct assessment. :thumb:

When dawn arrived and the smog lifted, a new Welcome sign appeared on I-90 saying Welcome to Chazoula!

Do people really think Bozeman or Missoula are anything like Seattle, San Francisco, or Los Angeles? Holy shit, buy a bus ticket. You lucky fuckers all live in great places.

Oh, some people from California moved into a new development in Bozeman, but they like to drink a different kind of wine with dinner whilst supporting local businesses? They must be from Los Angeles, and Bozeman is now Los Angeles. Sheesh!

I know from my many, many years living in Bozeman that it goes deeper than that. The town has radically changed.

Most Montanans, they recently just got rid of the v.c.r.s and beta discs.
