I'm gonna go out on a limb and say he's starting before the second half of the year.

I think he's that good.

I think he's going to become a very good WR for the Griz and so far from what I've seen and what others have seen there's a lot of buzz about the guy.

Starting this year? I don't think so unless there's a big wave of injuries through our upper ranks of WRs. That's saying he'd have to surpass Henderson, Jones, Saylor, Haynes, Warren, Naccarato, and Berland to get there. Don't see it happening.

I do see him in 2014 and 2015 really making his presence felt, his height, athleticism, and that he's catching a ton of passes thrown his way regardless if they're good throws or not have been impressive so far.

Naccarato hasn't done anything to impress me...I'd already put Rodgers ahead of him.

Warren is having a terrific pre-season. Getting open and catching everything. JJ seems to be looking for him.

Rogers is going to be a good one. Seems to have nice speed and hands, and is obviously tall.

The receivers seem to be coming along quite well. Same with the qb's.

We'll see Rogers and Bobo on the field this year if there's even a small acorn rattling around in Delaney's coconut.

I am hopeful that Cam will be the Griz version of Wes Welker. I expect him to be one of our top three (3) producing WRs in 2013. Henderson saw bracketed or rolled coverage at times last year. Chances are the same will happen again times year, but less frequently.

Cam will draw one-on-one attention from guys lesser skilled defenders & will out athlete his opposition a significant amount of the time. Plus he is also an ex-QB so intellectually (from a scheming standpoint) he's way ahead of the defender.

Saylor Jones & Wolcott round out a versatile, athletics, talented, intelligent & receiving corp. I think they will prove to be the best group of WRs in the Sky when its said & done. The QBs have great material to work with.

Add a championship caliber defensive squad that has top 10 national potential & it becomes easy to see this is beginning to take shape of something pretty special. Maul 'Em!

You were almost dead last in all of FCS in passing D last year, and basically the same secondary returning. I suppose if you see a 180 out of that group... A top 10 D would be possible, but that's will be tough IMO. One thing for sure, your secondary will get a HUGE test early against ASU.

What the fuck are you talking about? We were middle of the pack in our own CONFERENCE last year in passing D....how does that translate to "almost dead last in all of FCS"? I'd love to see where you're pulling that stat from.....

.....on second thought....never mind.

He's talking about yards per game, which we were almost dead last in, but when teams pass against you 70% of the time, you're going to get a lot of yards thrown on you. Pretty sure we weren't that bad in pass efficiency.

I think that if he gets the chance to prove it in game, and he becomes the deep threat he appears to be in camp, there's no reason we wouldn't see him starting.

I just love that we went from having one so-so deep threat last year (Henderson) to three legit ones this year in Rogers, Jones and Henderson.

Another bold prediction: we're top 3 in the Big Sky in passing yards and passing TDs this year.

Oh man, that would be great.

If that's the case, we'd definitely go undefeated in conference.

This thread has nothing to do with defense and even less to do with you Bobcunt haters. Go away. You have your own board. We are looking forward to Marq Rogers lighting up State for years to come, so get ready. Speaking of Montana Texas State, we haven't even begun to discuss the freak athleticism of Dominique Bobo. Looks like we are out recruiting you Bobcunts in BOTH your backyards. You guys are fucked bro.

FTC,
Lord Disick

Has Marq gotten reps with the first team yet or has his success in camp been against 2nd or 3rd team?

Seem to go through this every year: we have several recruits that everybody gets all geeked up about and people anoint them starters before they've proven anything. I like the fact that this kid is tall and fast and has performed well in camp, but I'm hopeful they red shirt him and give him a chance to add some strength.
