If not, the services might be overkill.
While literally all other schools discourage coaches driving drunk, MSU set up an incentive program.

.....Did you just try to compare adult coaches who were driving drunk down main street at extreme speeds and crashing cars while covering it up, then given extensions to a freshman in college who passed his breathalyzer without any alcohol on his breath when he took a wrong turn down a one way street while actually NOT drinking? Weird flex.

Where did I compare anything? I was making a light hearted joke. Didn’t think you’d get that offended! Thought it was obvious I wasn’t criticizing anybody, hell, the main part of the joke was making fun of MSU. I expect this response from others, not you Elrod.
Fair. I try not to get offended by anything here anymore, but bringing a college freshman's mistake into things and implying he was driving drunk when he was not did actually get under my skin, I can admit that.
Probably because it was a fucking stupid implication based on an inherently flawed analogy. Low-effort/low talent when defended as jokes. In the biz, they are known as “burners” as in, “don’t even workshop it; burn down the workshop.”

Joking aside, I am sure you can imagine why making a "joke" by (synonym of comparing) adult coaches—who have a fiduciary, contractual, and, in some ways, moral duty to the university they represent and the people of Montana—and a student-athlete whose brain is not yet fully developed will never go over any better on a fan board than a wet fart in church. Right?
And yes, that is the longest run-on sentence I have ever written.

I thought it was beyond obvious that no judgment was being passed. You guys are trying to make something small something big. I don’t insult players from either side regardless of what they have done or haven’t done, which is more than what many here can say.
