that was an amazing, hard hitting game. Congrats to the Griz. Going to be some sore men tomorrow. Great job by the special teams, with a blocked punt and field goal. Graves was very impressive.

Don't think I have ever read that much complaining in a game.

Cal Poly(amorous?) was definitely the hardest hitting team we've seen so far this year

So what happened on CP's possession? interception? fumble?

What were they doing at midfield? Overtime possession starts at the opposing team's 25.

We didn't get to see the last minute and the OT.

Cal poly starts there Ot with a option run to the left stoped in the back field.
short swing pas to left next 3rd and 10 call then the INT midel pass at the 14 yard line.

The defensive playcalling was good. It was the offensive playcalling that nearly cost us the game.

This f***[*] game is so incredible. If anyone thinks Delaney is a good coach watch this game again and try to say with a straight face that he deserves to be a college coach

He's a great coach....but perhaps you should clarify because I think you mean head coach.

I'm not so upset with going for it on 4th down but the play calling was absolute shit on them. I would be interested in exactly how many times we ran canada wide and how many yards it got. I would guess somewhere in the range of 25% of play calls with <2 yards a carry

If your reading comprehension skills are adequate, you'll notice that most of the "hate" is geared towards the coaches and not the players. This game was a horridly called game by the coaches

It is a rare year when UM and Cal Poly games DON'T end in close contests. CP really outplayed UM but fact is, they only scored 14 and needed 22....I think they are the best so far in the Big Sky. with NAU and EWU right behind. Next week will be the game of the year! Fun.

CP OT Series:

1 down ran a pitch sweep to the right and was stopped for a loss by JP

2 down 3 yard short pass to the left tackled by Tully

3rd down pass to the goal line intercepted by Coyle

Everybody is always dogging our defense but they actually played outstanding today as they have throughout most games this season

Wow. Outplayed by CP until the last few minutes of the game and OT. The entire D deserved to be the player(s) of the game. Outstanding effort by the D. Held them to 14 pts. Play of the game - blocked FG, no question. Not an impressive showing by the O. Play calling? Player execution? Combination? JJ looked flat/lethargic until the last few minutes.
A win like this helps solidify a team, brings confidence, shows they can overcome a bad game and still pull together to get a win - a real tough game like this will make them a lot better down the stretch. Good win Griz! Enjoy, then get ready for Eastern!
