The OFFICIAL Cal Poly Game Thread

I'm not so upset with going for it on 4th down but the play calling was absolute shit on them. I would be interested in exactly how many times we ran canada wide and how many yards it got. I would guess somewhere in the range of 25% of play calls with <2 yards a carry
Actually, according to the ESPN stats, 2.4 ypc -- for a whopping total of 73 yards rushing.

Better reread the thread..it's bad.
I've been posting in the thread all game, no need to reread it. The coaches definitely did not have their best called game today

Better rewatch the game...the play calling was bad until they ditched the constant run to the right obsession.

I'm going to rewatch the end of the game. Nothing like a horse statue framed in a sunset for the last 30 minutes to make you appreciate pathetic broadcasting.

I had that sinking feeling as soon as Montana blocked the FG. Why Cal Poly only sent 3 DL the last drive still has me scratching my head. I would say that Montana got lucky, but they have won too many games like this to call it lucky. Once again Congrats. Best of luck the rest of he way, but truth be told I will now be hoping the Griz stumble just once so the Mustangs still have a chance at the playoffs.

Playing prevent defense prevents you from winning the game.

Hermanson - 18 tackles - wow. Great effort by Matt.
He definitely had his best game this far this season. I think he deserved the player of the game award

The play calling was horrid until the very end. I even posted that before. Maybe you should reread the thread

Hey, my comment was not intended for you. I been following the thread for awhile and know you actually know what was going on. I could not agree more with you on the play calling.

Now you all get to read for weeks all about why the coaches called the game like they did, including going for it on 4th down over and over, by Delaney's sidekick, the coach of eGriz. I will not be reading his BS though.

Who does Poly have left?
NAU and Sac State and EWU at home. UC Davis, and UNC on the road.

NAU, Davis, Sac St, EWU and North Colo.

All winnable games given Cal Poly's talent. They'll have to get at least four though from the looks of it.

Edit: Ninja'd

Why not hope MSU, EWU lose instead?

4-1....if they can bounce back from this heartbreaker...

I'm just glad that blown call didn't determine the outcome. You have an awfully good team.
