The blonde female ref was bad

Let me give you a nickels worth of free advice on debating with Hoop/PR on any subject. You are never, and I mean NEVER going to win or even come to a reasonable conclusion. It is not about who is right or who is wrong. It’s about volume. You will never match his posting volume on any topic. He said as much earlier in this thread.

He is a retiree whose life revolves around posting on e-griz, so he will simply drown you with retorts. My advice, not that you asked for it, is make your point and move on. Let him “win” at e-griz posting, as apparently that’s all he has.
Thanks for the warning, but I have been reading Hoops posts for years. I just joined to challenge the blatant misogyny of this thread.

I have many years of experience dealing with narcissists and know that he will never own up to a mistake, admit defeat, or back off a bad position in any way. He sees himself as an authority on all things, and will resort to the narcissist’s bag of tricks like projection, ad hominem attacks, and appeal to authority to preserve his fragile ego at all costs.

I challenge his posts because narcissists need to know that society will not tolerate their insolence.

But yeah, I think the chances of Hoops turning the corner on introspection are even less than the Griz beating SDSU this weekend, unfortunately.

You're way too articulate for egriz... and on top of that you tend to make way too many good points!

When did the play happen. I would like to take a look.
1:15 remaining in the third quarter. The well-named TE, Gerard Bullock, runs a crossing route left to right. The umpire sets an unintended pick on Lee which causes him to step around and lose leverage. Otlewski is coming over to bracket the TE and gives him a shove, causing him to bowl Lee over. I honestly don’t see what the fuss is about. Lots of contact and as I mentioned previously, the receivers almost always get the benefit of the doubt in bang bang contact plays like that. I’d correct one thing on the call and give the DPI to Otlewski. The color guy Jay Walker, who definitely played the game, said “Easy call for the official to make”. Ha.

Late 3rd quarter. Bergen ran the 1st punt back. Griz converted for 2. Up 27 -6. Mastermind special team coach decides to kick short like he did to end half (with 10 seconds left....different situation now!). TSU returns the stupid KO to Griz 12. PI call is made on 1st down play. TSU scores on next 1st down play.

I thought the kickoff decision by the mastermind special teams coach was worse than the call by the official.

I’m not her mentor. I don’t support incompetence. Anyone who calls that play defensive PI should not be officiating at this level, in my view. She is hurting women officials. This was not a judgement call. She was standing right there. I have never called out a female official in my life.

look at the play and tell us what you think.
I took a look and commented below. You should take a look again as well.

That's exactly what I saw as well. I posted that earlier, but it got lost in the replies.

You guys got me to rewatch it.

I still think it could have been called either way, although it does look like Otlewski did technically commit the offense.

Fact remains, she at minimum got the number wrong, which I hear is a fireable offense for DEI hires. /s

Worst call in CFB history? Uh … no. Didn’t Colorado get five downs in a NC year?

Yeah, but what law firm did he work for?
Funny story. I was the CFO for a 501(c)(3) organization that issued tax exempt bonds from time to time. Our bond counsel was Dorsey and Whitney, Minneapolis. The partner we worked with was very smart, very professional. I liked him. He did have an air of pomposity, which is probably a tool of the trade in that business. The investment bank’s bond counsel was similar in all the same ways.

No, she didn't get wrong number. She waited until late and called penalty on Lee. She didn't make the call on the backer. The ball probably wasn't in the air when the backer until after the backer made his play. "UM Pass Interference (Lee,Jaxon)". So, the ref blocked Lee too? What the hell was she doing there interfering in the end zone on such an important play? Another reason she is bad. Your clowns don't have a clue.

Dorsey is a huge bond counsel firm. Dorsey has been doing the bulk of the bond work in MT since the 50's (or 60's), I believe. Dorsey is a great firm.

She called the PI on Lee. I saw how long it took her to decide to make the call. She didn't get the number wrong.

2003 Fiesta Bowl (BCS Championship Game) - I was rooting for Ohio State that night, so I wasn’t complaining, but the DPI called on the Hurricanes’ DB in the first OT was pretty sketchy.

What has been your prior posting name or names?

I commented too. You are wrong. She called the PI on Lee, and she didn't get the number wrong. Even you people commenting admit that the receiver ran over Lee. I saw the play and I saw how long it took her to decide to make the call. The backer wasn't even closed to where she made the call. Plus, she interfered with Lee. In the end zone towards the sideline on a crucial play. She doesn't know how to ref. I am completely right on this. Everybody around me had a great view, and said exactly the same thing and booed.

For Christ Sake, watch the damn play.
I saw the play and I know who she called the PI on. She called it on Lee. The stats back that up. In a play out of the middle of the field, refs don't get the number wrong of the person they called a PI on. Jeez, learn something about the game and how secondary play works.

Worst secondary PI call I have ever saw. Are you now going to tell me that what I look at? You are pretty arrogant for hiding behind a keyboard. And obviously a never played the gamer.

She’s a side judge, not a ref. Since you’re so fond of picking the fly shit out of the pepper.

"Air of pomposity"! Very accurate.
