The blonde female ref was bad

Let me give you a nickels worth of free advice on debating with Hoop/PR on any subject. You are never, and I mean NEVER going to win or even come to a reasonable conclusion. It is not about who is right or who is wrong. It’s about volume. You will never match his posting volume on any topic. He said as much earlier in this thread.

He is a retiree whose life revolves around posting on e-griz, so he will simply drown you with retorts. My advice, not that you asked for it, is make your point and move on. Let him “win” at e-griz posting, as apparently that’s all he has.
Ya, I have nothing left except egriz. Except about 3 or 4 good international trips a year, and a dozen good domestic trips. 5 kids and grandkids. A nice wife. Lots of friends. Lots of good sporting events to attend including FBS playoffs and championship games and Dartmouth and Griz games. 4 places to live. summer at lake. Skiing at Big Sky. Being a snowbird in AZ. Opportunity and time to work out everyday. It's clear and sunny with a high of 79 today. Life is tough.

She’s a side judge, not a ref. Since you’re so fond of picking the fly shit out of the pepper.
They are all refs to me. There is nothing nitpicking about my view on this subject. And even some of you neggies agree the receiver ran over Lee. That's offensive PI.

Seems like a charmed life my man, and yet you spend your every waking moment posting on e-griz. Sad.

Thanks for proving my point with this response though. Take care.

I realize you’re just playing the villain in this little drama called egriz, but at some point it’s okay to fold a bad hand. I engaged on this one because I found your OP was extremely unfair.

My OP was correct. I have a strong hand here. I don't care if it was unfair. Life isn't always fair. It's what I observed and what my view. I have never called out a female sports official in my life, as I said earlier. What some people have called me are wrong and unfair too. I don't care. I know I'm a lot tougher and more knowledgeable on football than they are, and some of them are idiots, in my view.

I have a lot of time sitting at the pool, for airplanes (I don't watch plane video screen at all), having coffee, etc. My mom made me take 2 semesters of typing in high school. Used to do 65 wpm with almost no mistakes. I don't do other social media. I don't waste my time with rambling podcasts. I get to do exactly what I want to almost everyday.

No, she didn't get wrong number. She waited until late and called penalty on Lee. She didn't make the call on the backer. The ball probably wasn't in the air when the backer until after the backer made his play. "UM Pass Interference (Lee,Jaxon)". So, the ref blocked Lee too? What the hell was she doing there interfering in the end zone on such an important play? Another reason she is bad. Your clowns don't have a clue.
I don’t even know if you ever watched the play at this point. She was the SJ out of bounds at the goal line, in proper position.

And I don’t have any clowns. They’re creepy.

She called the PI on Lee. I saw how long it took her to decide to make the call. She didn't get the number wrong.
The Ball was in the Air before #45 pushes the TE (#17 from TSU) into Lee. She started throwing the flag (reaching for it and raising her hand up with it in it) before the ball hit the ground. It was about 1 second from contact to when the flag hit the turf...

The more I watch the play, the more I think you’re right. Ball in the air, 45 pushes 17 into 25, and interferes with the play.

I think the Umpire just announced the wrong number (25 vs. 45).

It may have been HIS mistake, which of course reflects poorly on all male officials. /s

I don't believe you. Why did she call the penalty on Lee? Why didn't the other refs or head ref get the number correct? You are just making up excuses, because you know you are wrong.

I think you don't know what you are talking about. Head refs don't change the numbers given to them and make mistakes like that. It was her bad call.

It was DPI. I made a mistake thinking it was OPI originally. It’s ok though, everybody makes mistakes. Even “head refs” make mistakes. Pretty sure penalties are called on the wrong number regularly … at all levels of football.

Cool story. I have watched the play, and you can see what I said. No excuses, just saying what I saw.

How the heck does your head even make through the door to sit by the pool.

1:15 remaining in the third quarter. The well-named TE, Gerard Bullock, runs a crossing route left to right. The umpire sets an unintended pick on Lee which causes him to step around and lose leverage. Otlewski is coming over to bracket the TE and gives him a shove, causing him to bowl Lee over. I honestly don’t see what the fuss is about. Lots of contact and as I mentioned previously, the receivers almost always get the benefit of the doubt in bang bang contact plays like that. I’d correct one thing on the call and give the DPI to Otlewski. The color guy Jay Walker, who definitely played the game, said “Easy call for the official to make”. Ha.
The little shove occurs early before the ball is thrown. 25 is on his back and the ref hasn’t thrown flag. 45 is then 3 yards upfield from receiver, looking across field to Tenn. sidelines and looking toward the line of scrimmage. There is no way the ref is flagging 45. She is slowing deciding to flag the contact when the receiver runs over 25. The ref is standing 3 years out of bounds on goal line and had been looking towards the post all along. There are no other players within 12 yards of the play. The ref that got or almost got in 45’s way is upfield on the hash, and looking at the play.
and not reaching for his flag. As 2 players are down, he turns to look towards the line of scrimmage before the woman ref has thrown her flag. He was closest to the play and contact and did not throw his flag. He had better position than the woman ref.

There was no replay. A replay starts, but the screen cuts to the next play.

I could not see any push by 45 pushing the receiver into 25. There could be minor contact but the ball probably past the receiver then.

Some of the guys trying to post on the video are either wrong or making up stuff. In any event, there is no way the flag was thrown on 45.
