Ten in a Row

Montana has arguably the best stadium in the FCS, and has been passed by Eastern Washington, who plays in a glorified high school stadium, as the premiere team in the Big Sky.
A 57-16 humiliation by Montana in 2015 makes EWU "the premiere team in the Big Sky?"

I won't. It's a f***[*]' shithole, and everyone knows it.
 You guys are too much sometimes, haha!

Maybe it is. I like watching my team win. They win in the Fargodome. Winning makes any venue great. Fenway Park is a shithole but it sure is fun to watch a team win there.

Washington Grizzly is a great stadium man. Probably the best in the FCS.

Agree with all of the above. Thanks for stopping by!

Don't know why you keep thanking me but no problem buddy !

Great! I'm just glad you guys like to stop by, that's all.

Well I just enjoy reading all the NDSU analysis you guys provide. I can always count on a few NDSU topics on this website.

Why would the victors of that game want a bowl of gravy ? Weird dude.

Best of luck next year.

I thought a bowl of gravy was the standard NoDak reward for anything positive. I guess I might have misread it.

Clearly defense and ground and pound football wins championships...Yet we decide after Bobby leaves we wanna be f****** Oregon with Robin and now f****** Texas Tech with Stitt.

I assume you saw the throws that Wentz made?

I know the Cheatriots have won a lot of NFL championships with anything but ground and pound. Looking at all the Super Bowl winners since 2004, you see QBs like Russell Wilson,Aaron Rodgers, Tom Brady, Ben Roethlisberger, the Manning Bros.and Drew Brees. Only the Baltimore Ravens with Joe Flacco seem to break the mold as they definitely had a great D and a game manager at QB.

The Dallas Cowboys went 3-1 in the games that Romo started this year. 1-11 in games he didn't start. O-line and Defense was not dramatically different in those games.

No one would say that O-lines, and Defense aren't important parts of a championship formula, but ground and pound is not the only way to win. We have had 2 national championships here in Grizville and certainly the first one was definitely on the back of Dave Dickenson, not our ground and pound game. One of the NCs we lost to Marshall was due to the unstoppable talents of Randy Moss, not their unstoppable running game.

NDSU is solid in all parts of the game, but to discount the value of having Brock Jensen and now Carson Wentz as their starting QBs during their run of Championships is just wrong.

I believe that we were on our way to more NCs with Pflugrad as coach and we will be back there with Stitt. This should be an exciting and fun team to watch to see if that is true. Getting Reese Phillips to add depth to our QB position will make a big difference next year.

I know i'm just mad bro haha

Ha! Do they honestly still do the Chicago Bulls lights out thing?

You bet buddy ! Opponents must be blinded by the lights when they turn them back on. Stitt and Gustafson looked like deer in headlights back in December.

That's so cute! Haha! I'll never go to North Dakota for any reason to know for sure, but I bet they play Enter Sandman or some Poison song. Screwy little place.

Great don't go there ever. Been to WaGrizz twice. Awesome stadium. Great fans. Great Gameday environment. Not as intimidating as the environment at the Fargodome. Teams go in there and run into a buzz saw.

Disagree, it is just as intimidating. However, the last few years, the football team has not been as intimidating - there is your difference.

Close. We alternate every home game between "Poison" by Bel Biv Devoe and "Poison" by Alice Cooper.

Offense wins games. Defense wins championships. Griz will never win a championship with Stitt as HC. Best scenario for the Griz would be not to make the playoffs for the next 2 yrs and hire Gregorak back as HC. Worst case would be to make the playoffs and lose the first or second round. That way they can justify keeping Stitt. If the Griz would've made Gregorak HC and hired Stitt as OC, they'd be playing in Frisco 3 out of the next 5 yrs minimum

If you asked any player or coach of NDSU that question, I'll bet they would tell you the same thing. They are focused on next year and nothing else after recruiting of course. Next season they will concentrate on the next game. I consider your question to be more of a troll than anything else.

Well you're certainly entitled to your opinion, but if you think this topic is for trolling, or somehow a slam on the griz......... Then you're high. And paranoid. NDSU winning the next five chippers is certainly not impossible.

Or 100. I think they will win 100 in a row! It's not impossible. While we are on the topic of things that aren't impossible, the Bobcats could make the playoffs in 2016.

Back on topic here. What do you think it more likely, NDSU winning the next five in a row or UM winning one of the next five? If you think that's a dumb question and think the latter option is a no brainer, then you obviously haven't been paying attention, or you don't understand the game, and you don't quite grasp the size of the gap between NDSU and everyone else.

If you've been paying attention, however, you'll realize that the gap between UNDSU and MSU is way, way, way greater than the gap between UNDSU and UM.

Sounds like you found a new team tojo. Be proud of your cats.

Not really. Yep - you beat us this year, congrats. We were too inconsistent and obviously we had a terrible defense. You were inconsistent too, and unfortunately for us BG happened to have a great game against us. Had you guys played like you did against NDSU in the playoffs, Cal Poly, Liberty, PSU... would likely have been a different outcome.

Any of the past 5 Bison teams would have crushed 96 Marshall

nope

there is not one Bison player on the past 5 Bison teams that could stop Randy Moss. Not even double-teamed.

and yes, that changes the game

Without Moss, the griz would've won 38-7 or more in 96

Your comment is exactly why NDSU is different than any other teams. It has never been about one guy. They play as a team. There are very few DB's who could cover Moss.

I never saw a FCS team bring pressure like the 2013 team did from the front 4. You bring pressure from the front 4 and don't allow Moss time to get down field. That entire defense was ridiculously good. Offense would have chewed clock and kept Marshall off the field.

The way you pose the question is basically: Agree with my future telling, or you're fucking dumb.
I think it's more likely that UM wins one of the next five. I think it's more likely that T-Buffs maybe win the next two than UM winning one of the next two. Five is a lot.

Here's a similar question: Do you think it's more likely that MSU makes the playoffs one of the next three years, or that UM makes the playoffs for the next three years? If you think that's a dumb question, and think the latter option is a no brainer, then you obviously haven't been paying attention, or you don't understand the game, and you don't quite grasp the size of the gap between UM and MSU, and you molest collies, and you wet the bed. It's a simple question.
