Tell me about Missoula

As I said before, Betty's in Polson, across from Qwatuk....

Very good diner food and great diner waitresses. Some young. All with name tags saying Betty.

Can't help it man. I'm old school Missoula.

Tower Pizza
93 Stop & Go
My Place
Heidelhaus
Rocking Horse
5-Valley Bowl
Trading Post
etc., etc.,....

I have always liked the Shack, but I like the food at the Catalyst better. And more and better outside tables. Too bad the Uptown closed. Stone of Accord is owned by Tom Hilley who owed the Garden Bar for several decades, as well as the Irish Pub that was sold and is now the Meagher Bar.

Ever try El Taco? There’s no drive through but they have a walk-up window and a cult following. As far as fast-mex-food, my hierarchy goes:
El Taco
Taco Time
Taco Johns
Taco Treat
Taco Bell
Town Pump

Is that in Missoula? I haven't heard of it.

RE: Mexican food. La Tinga in Bozeman and Billings. Sisters Alba and Evelyn are from Mexico City and this is authentic native cuisine. Worth the drive from anywhere in MT if you've never tried 'em. If you think this food is going to be like Taco Hell you will be sadly disappointed.

Well sitting in Logan UT, beautiful trip so far, dinner at lake Powell, trip through Bruce canyon.

None of this is Mexican food. "Tacoladas" and "potato oles" aren't real things.

No self-respecting Arizonan will drive from Arizona to Montana to for Mexican food. When I visit Montana, I seek out good steak, burgers and Italian food. That's the good stuff up north.

Oh god no. I wasn’t suggesting they—or anyone really—eat that shit.
I know I have a problem and it helps me when I can talk about it safely

Potato(e) oles aren't real things? Mr. Taco Johns would disagree with you. I SURVIVED HIGH SCHOOL with the help of the Taco Johns that was kitty corner from Sentinel. Taco burgers and potato(e) oles...

Tia's Big Sky is supposed to be great for Tacos.

How long ago was it that there was a Taco Johns near Sentinel? I never remember one and I lived four blocks from Sentinel from 1982 to 2007.
