But, when I worked for them, MacKenzie River was primarily owned by a guy that moved to Bozeman from the East (Boston, I think). Story goes that he ordered a Santa Fe Chicken sandwich while on vacation, liked it so much that he bought the company. While he owned it, some menu items had different names depending on where they were in the state. For example, the nachoish pizza was named the Griz in Missoula and named the Bobcat in Bozeman. Today, a franchising comapany based out of Kalispell owns the brand. The franchise owners for both stores in Missoula, the store in Polson, and I believe the store in Fargo are die hard Griz fans. Indeed, one of them was a cheerleader for the Griz and the other was the defensive line coach under Joe Glen.
Bill Foley, the owner of the Las Vegas Knights, owns Mackenzie River. Lance Robinson the DL coach you're referring to, is involved somehow, but I'm not sure how.
No, he doesn't. They are franchises now. L. and S. own four stores.

Some might be, but not all.. as I understand it.
It doesn't seem I'm going to make you understand correctly either.
