Tebow? Manning?

Come to the good side:

The Broncos never cleansed their facility of reminders of a player before he was traded. Trading him is fine but show respect the man for the excitement and money he brought to the Donkeys. Just the jersey sales brought tons of money to them and NFL. The Donksters did not like it when they thought he had become bigger nationwide then them. I was hoping they would take Brock Osweiler but they won't now unless he drops to 5 th through 7th round. Elway likes him. Manning would be a great mentor for a few years.

It had nothing to do with Tebow being bigger than the Broncos. I thought both Manning and Elway were pretty classy in the press conference regarding Tebow. Do you also think the 49ers, Titans, Dolphins, Jets, Cardinals, et al are less classy because they pursued Manning?

Manning is a classy guy and Elway knows to say the right thing to say. Elway never liked having Tebow and showed it through the years. His actions during the year spoke louder than his words yesterday. The other teams did not cleanse their facility of signs of him before he was traded. I have no problem with going out and bringing in a better player as the other teams also tried. That is part of the business. I have a problem with the way the Donkeys got rid of any sign of Tebow for the news conference and yet had tons of photos of the other players, some who are already gone. The photos were a celebration of last years team accomplishments. Elway was never supportive of Tebow during the year. There are still photos of Bill Romanowski and other thugs in the Bronco headquarters.

FCK THAT

Lifelong Chiefs fan and I won't no part of Tebow.
NO! Heavens no! I didn't mean Tebow come to the Chiefs, I meant all those Donkey fans need to switch and come over to the good side, the Chiefs. :D

The track record of old quarterbacks going to new teams is pretty bad. As examples I'd cite Joe Namath (LA Rams), Johnny Unitas (Chargers) and Brett Favre (Vikings (and Jets?)). We shall see if Mr. Manning is a good investment of many millions of dollars.

Favre almost got Minnesota to the Super Bowl, and Montana did the same thing in KC. It can work.

The thing I like about Tebow is you can go hunting or something, get home for the last 5 minutes of the game, and you won't have missed anything important.

Look, Tebow is never going to be an NFL starting QB. He just can't throw the the rock well enough. Elway understands it, and so do most other NFL people.

That is wrong already. Did he not start the majority of 2011? :thumb:  (just saying)

ONLY due to the fact the other QB's sucked even worse than he does.

I think it had to do more with the fact that the fans were chanting tebow in the stands and they gave them what they wanted instead of putting in the 2 quarterback as per the depth chart. Listening to the fans is the most important thing you know...this whole thing is dumb, tebow has support because he is a legitimately nice guy not because he is a good quarterback.

Manning won't last long enough to take them all the way...not with his injury. Because of this, it was a bad deal.

Take it to the bank.

now it makes sense....

pater short for pat....
