LadyGriz Tanner Lind joins the Lady Griz staff as Director of Player Development

This is a great hire. Great job Nate!

Looks like the Lady Griz future is getting brighter.

Key phrase: "I love figuring out what they are not strong at and putting a plan together and seeing how we can get good at ball-handling, footwork, finishing, shooting, passing, body movement, timing," he said. "I love helping them get better and seeing confidence build within players as they develop new skills."

Thats why i commend Nate so much. It takes a certain individual to realize where some short comings are and reaching out for help. Regardless if he needs it or not, why would you not want this guy helping your kids out. Very shortsighted to deny the help.
I think this approach is more about where each are in their respective coaching career. For better or worse, Nate is very much under the microscope and needs to show vast improvement in the results this upcoming season.

I admire it too. I'm glad Harris has made some drastic changes during the offseason in an effort to improve the team. There have been several coaches in the past (I won't mention names) that have absolutely refused to adapt for the betterment of the program. Good on Nate for recognizing changes needed to be made!

Soooo, i know you didn't say it, but are you saying that Travis is far enough in his career that he can rest on his laurels? Turn down help no matter how helpful it might be?

Not what I was saying. It was more that based on his success he has a longer leash to run his program as he sees fit. I don't for second believe that Travis doesn't do everything he considers helpful to obtain and sustain success of the program.
