Purely speculative but does anyone know anything about Cole Young, an OL from Oregon? Purely speculative but he retweeted the Oregon qb announcement (probably just supporting his friend), is following Justin Green (probably a connection from when he was in high school), and has a bear emoji in his Twitter name (probably a nickname or something). It’s a huge stretch I’m trying to make but would be nice to add some more lineman. Has that been mentioned before on here? :lol:

No, it’s my understanding everyone here is happy with what we got.

I don’t even think Young is in the transfer portal, he’s being followed by a few Griz players but probably from high school but not by any coaches

I agree, Elite.

Speaking of which, the year he committed to Oregon, Oregon also landed the MVP of the "Elite 11" national QB competition.

What I like most is that we get to see a highlight reel of him where most of his throws aren’t to wide open guys. His highlight video showcases his accuracy, fitting the ball into some tight windows.

He reminds me of a bigger Sneed. Maybe even better accuracy.

Definitely has all the physical tools. Only noticed 1 somewhat of a weakness to work on. Most the time, he locks onto 1 receiver, side, or zone. I didn't see much of scanning the field for options and route tree progressions.
Then again, most qbs struggle with that.
