Especially when NDSU is replacing both their safeties.

A cowboy hat. It takes more than a cowboy hat to win.

Poorgriz, if U don't understand Griz language stay out, big hat small brain?

Ok, gotcha. It takes more than a cowboy hat to win. Makes sense.

All hat and no cattle....pretty much sums up that State program.

Well, their stadium does have one huge advantage over ours, a nice lake right next to it that I'm told is plum full of large brown trout! I hear the bobcat cheerleaders have been known to go skinny dipping there also.

How a bureaucracy managed to put a Mountain, a River, a Campus and Stadium Design, over a long period of years, into a Football Experience of national recognition is in my experience nothing short of incredible.
How MSU managed to put a similarly photogenic part of Montana into an empty field, bare parking lots, and locate Montana's largest gigantic Septic Tank next door, is one of the true marvels of MSU athletic planning. It was bad enough that Bozeman managed to attract the name "Litter Box," it was bad enough to locate the human litterbox right there.
It isn't just a matter of "what were they thinking?" it's a matter of "is there any thinking there?"

Great questions. I've also wondered why the field is angled from NW to SE for no apparent reason. It's like they just started laying down chalk lines and said, "that's good enough."

Before they had 14 "Bleacher Expansions" they had to factor in glare off the pond because it would affect play.

I'll be damned, they did plan something. Thanks! Do you happen to know why they went the modular route on the expansions?
