Short yardage sets, that is refreshing. That was the one thing that Pflugrad's offense struggled with. I got frustrated often watching the GRIZ on short yardage under Pflu. Other than that, I loved Pflu's offense.

Well, their stadium does have one huge advantage over ours, a nice lake right next to it that I'm told is plum full of large brown trout! I hear the bobcat cheerleaders have been known to go skinny dipping there also.

How a bureaucracy managed to put a Mountain, a River, a Campus and Stadium Design, over a long period of years, into a Football Experience of national recognition is in my experience nothing short of incredible.

How MSU managed to put a similarly photogenic part of Montana into an empty field, bare parking lots, and locate Montana's largest gigantic Septic Tank next door, is one of the true marvels of MSU athletic planning. It was bad enough that Bozeman managed to attract the name "Litter Box," it was bad enough to locate the human litterbox right there.

I assume it had something to do with their Engineering program and the knowledge contained there, although it seems to be a hybrid of Erector, K'NEX, Legos, and Lincoln Logs...I'm not an engineer so probably over my head.

I harken back to how the offense struggled when Pflu was attempting to implement his schemes....I don't think we'll see a polished offense on 8/29...it would take all cylinders firing to beat the bizon....afraid that ain't happenin', but I'll be there with bells on!

How do you feel now after hearing how well the 1st team offense looked against the Griz 1st team defense in the spring scrimmage?
