Stitt Putting His Stamp on Montana

When all else fails just throw it deep to Hendo and Jones...that gameplan will keep us in every game.

Especially when NDSU is replacing both their safeties.

No harken...we just don't harken. We play to win and that is how we go! Win with tough football play...solid and fast with slow results. A win is win.
A cowboy hat. It takes more than a cowboy hat to win.

Of course we play to win...just think this particular one is a tall order, given the unique set of circumstances going in...

OK I agree it will be a tough game for us, AZ.

Poorgriz, if U don't understand Griz language stay out, big hat small brain?

Ok, gotcha. It takes more than a cowboy hat to win. Makes sense.

All hat and no cattle....pretty much sums up that State program.

Short yardage sets, that is refreshing. That was the one thing that Pflugrad's offense struggled with. I got frustrated often watching the GRIZ on short yardage under Pflu. Other than that, I loved Pflu's offense.

Well, their stadium does have one huge advantage over ours, a nice lake right next to it that I'm told is plum full of large brown trout! I hear the bobcat cheerleaders have been known to go skinny dipping there also.

You got that right. I know Cruzado has Waded out there a time or two as well.

There is only one man that I know of who could tackle that, jcu27.

I have thought that UM's choice of stadium location and design was simply "inspired."

How a bureaucracy managed to put a Mountain, a River, a Campus and Stadium Design, over a long period of years, into a Football Experience of national recognition is in my experience nothing short of incredible.

How MSU managed to put a similarly photogenic part of Montana into an empty field, bare parking lots, and locate Montana's largest gigantic Septic Tank next door, is one of the true marvels of MSU athletic planning. It was bad enough that Bozeman managed to attract the name "Litter Box," it was bad enough to locate the human litterbox right there.

It isn't just a matter of "what were they thinking?" it's a matter of "is there any thinking there?"

Great questions. I've also wondered why the field is angled from NW to SE for no apparent reason. It's like they just started laying down chalk lines and said, "that's good enough."

Before they had 14 "Bleacher Expansions" they had to factor in glare off the pond because it would affect play.

I'll be damned, they did plan something. Thanks! Do you happen to know why they went the modular route on the expansions?

I assume it had something to do with their Engineering program and the knowledge contained there, although it seems to be a hybrid of Erector, K'NEX, Legos, and Lincoln Logs...I'm not an engineer so probably over my head.

I harken back to how the offense struggled when Pflu was attempting to implement his schemes....I don't think we'll see a polished offense on 8/29...it would take all cylinders firing to beat the bizon....afraid that ain't happenin', but I'll be there with bells on!

How do you feel now after hearing how well the 1st team offense looked against the Griz 1st team defense in the spring scrimmage?
