So PR... if you look at the sheer volume of the number of arrests of players and coaches associated with the grizzly football program over the past five or so years, would you agree that it's WAY too many and it indicates a problem with the program? Yes or No.
I don't count arrests. I look at the whether charges are valid and what the outcome is.
Yes, there are have been too many problems of this type in UM program in recent history. Everybody thinks that.
There are have been too many dui and similiar incidents. Everybody agrees with that.
No, it doesn't indicate a problem with the UM program. It incidates that a number of kids have made mistakes and choices, several of which have been big mistakes. Let's see you list all of the kids that you believe UM made a mistake in recruiting, and why a mistake was made. Don't bother to say a particular kid got in trouble; therefore it was a mistake.
While there have been too many problems in recent years, the problems have been exaggerated by the press (mainly the Missoulian), overcharging, and exaggerating and lying by people like yourself.
The worst incidents have been the house burglary, Donaldson, and one player's involvement in the recent convenience store robbery/beating.
Prior to recent history (say 6 years), there hasn't been that much of this type of problem. Some, but not much.
