scats tied up 21-21 lol

Cats would’ve done better against visperas. We had completely game planned for him and the defense had to figure out what the hell EW was going to do. That +1 run game was super tough and they had a ton of trickery. But when it mattered most our defense didn’t let them score in the 4th and our offense found ways to get in the end zone. A win is a win

While Visperas is our starting QB we'll try to pull off some trickery by running multiple QB formations, bring it a different QB, etc.

The problem is when we do that, it's an immediate sign we're most certainly going to run the ball.

I wouldn't go thumping your chest over the offensive performance. EWU's defense is historically bad as of late. And that's saying something.
But you didn’t just run it. You passed a fair amount considering the QBs. The plus run game is super tricky and EWU was running all sorts to tricky option stuff. Also pretty hard to commit to the run and stack the box when the team has the best WR in FCS.

I don’t think anyone recognizes how good that team is. They lost to UCD by 10, UM by 3, Idaho by 10 in the Kibbie Dome, and MSU by 14. That is 4 close games against 4 top 10 teams. Heck I think they were even ranked at one point

You're not very smart are you? EWU starting QB brings the +1. He's a dual threat QB that is a better mobile QB than the others. Difference is he's way better at passing and running. And knows the offense way better. You're smoking crack if you think MSU would have done better facing him.

There were a total of three pass attempts from QBs not named Taylor in that game, hence my statement about knowing it's going to involve a run.

That's pretty par for the course this and last season.

Granted you still have to deal with trickery, but you can have a high degree of confidence that when the starter QB comes out you'll end up with a running play of some kind.

Sadly it's the coaching imo which is probably gonna change at the end of the season. Three consecutive losing seasons and wondering if you're going to beat Northern Colorado is not a good way to end a contract year.

Nevada aside yesterday's loss to MSU was the widest margin of loss we've had all year but I don't think that will save Best.

We weren't ranked but did get some votes earlier in the season.

Money, I hear you're from Polson. Great town, especially in summer.

😄😄

So I guess just like the bubs, ewooo's backups are better than their starters also!!

Dude. Cmon man. You cannot be happy with that. You faced an ewooo team who normally throws for 380, but because they were without their star QB, they had to resort to the run. And then they put up 225 on ya. This is ewoooo we're talkin about. 225 yards. Rushing. Look, congrats on the win. But holy fuuuuuck.....

Can you even imagine what the GRIZ run game will do to that defense?? That could make last year's game look close.
Considering the eags rushed for 337 against the griz defense I'd say 225 was a pretty good day for the cats.

You are wrong. Committee looks at strength of teams and schedule not wins over weak FBS teams. You don’t have a clue.

All of my posts are looking backward at teams already played. Cats have had a weak schedule to date. None of my posts on Cat SOS are looking forward or to final SOS. All looking at teams played to date.

Kid, learn to read.
A team with three mountain west conference wins will count as better than a bubble FCS team to the committee. They take special consideration to FBS wins.

Again, the committee looks at the strength of the opponents, not just at whether the opponent is FBS. The committee looks at SOS. UNM's SOS is way down. I have talked to the last 2 committee chair in the past year, as well as O'Day many times. UNM has 2 MW wins, over Utah St. (2-6) and Air Force (1-7).
A loss to Wyoming (2-7).

Utah St is no. 127 in Sagarin and AFA is 135.

I know what I am talking about. You don't.

MSU is still last in SOS in Big Sky in the Sagarin, at 201. Davis is 196. Cal Poly is about middle of the pack. UM is 3d to the bottom.

You forgot NMSU.
Keep wubbing our bellies and telling us the griz are the best.
Have you noticed that there are no loses on the cats schedule? What happened to the griz at ND and against Weber State? Keep hanging your hat on that Western Carolina win. See where that gets you with the committee.

You seem nervous.

You played UNM, not NMSU. lol at your schedule. I have not said Griz are the best, nothing even close to that. I have said Cats have played a weak schedule so far, and they have. Griz came up one play short in each of those 2 games and got beat. Missouri St is the best team the Griz have played. They are better than any team the Cats have played, in my view.
